Finished season1 and I can't really say that I'd recommend that to anyone. It's a total voicetrap: Asumi Kana is voicing the main girl: + Show Spoiler [pic] + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/2bcBVVw.jpg) KitaEri is this one + Show Spoiler [pic] + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/i0ZbM81.jpg) we have Kamiya Hiroshi (Araragi) voicing this guy: + Show Spoiler [pic] + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/ExV1QAD.jpg) and Hikasa as one of the older sisters: + Show Spoiler [pic] + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/VQ8P3PS.jpg) so naturally I went into this expecting to like it a lot. But as it turns out all the characters in it are either assholes or stupid. KitaEri char became just plain boring really quickly for me. Souma is a massive asshole. The big sisters were downright annoying. Asumi Kana carried the first 2 episodes or so but got shafted later on with the focus turning to this girl instead: + Show Spoiler [pic] + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/IZcU7z8.jpg) a crazy violent girl who is afraid of men and punches anyone who gets closer than 2 meters (if male)... while working as a waitress... I came to think that she might just like punching men while not actually being afraid of them until the episode + Show Spoiler + with her dad happens and you are being told that he systematically trained her to be afraid of men while making sure she gets plenty strong à la DBZ. Like putting metal plates with increasing weight in her bags... srsly wtf Oh right, the manager who doesn't work is another asshole. Yamada is an idiot (although one of the few characters that are somewhat enjoyable). It's like Shirobako just the other way around. There's one decent guy and everyone else is a Tarou | ||

It's a workplace comedy, all of the characters are strange - or at least everyone that works on that particular shift except for Matsumoto Maya. (Perfectly normal glasses girl.) The main character, Takanashi, is from a very strange family and has a minicon fetish. The show kindof revolves around him dealing with all the strange situations that pop up, and also him getting hit by Inami-chan because of her phobia. Dysfunctional but they all work together. Even Kyouko does occasionally do something helpful. Although Souma really does seem like an asshole, he does have some redeeming qualities that may not be apparent until later. I dunno, I liked the entire series. Maybe I've just spent way too much time in Denny's (family restaurant style, not unlike Wagnaria really) and seen all of the strange characters that can drift through such a place. Yamada's not an asshole - just a kid. | ||

It's like Shirobako just the other way around. There's one decent guy and everyone else is a Tarou mfw talking about voice trap and you totally skip over the MC (Fukuyama Jun), Itou Shizuka as one of the sisters, Ono Daisuke (you posted an image of his char, Jun), and Hirohashi Ryou (Yamada). You are still green, young grasshopper. | ||

Too bad OPM probably had the best fight it could ever have and the strongest villian so early in the show and now it has to rely on comedy to carry the show. | ||
