On MAL for example it's quite underrated, being rated lower than most shows this season. Talking about here mostly, I don't know what reddit or MAL thinks about shows. It was kinda hard to pick because most of the stuff that everyone was drooling over here was stuff like OPM and Souma and I didn't watch those. ;; why didn't/don't you? They are really good. OPM just didn't sound like it appealed to what I like and I read some of the source manga for Souma and thought it was stupid and dropped it. Took a few episodes before I really liked Souma, though I guess it's fine if you tried it and didn't like it... OPM was much better than I thought. It sounds pretty bland, but was really funny, although also kind of predictable. I watched more for the comedy part and it delivered.

I didn't watch it for the longest time because the season was so shitty that I lost all hope for anything that isn't Owarimonogatari. On top of that just like you I didn't think OPM would be my thing and suddenly I find myself watching ep1 up to ep6 in one go because I gave it a chance.

I am glad that the mangaka of Nisekoi was intelligent enough to finally understand this fundamental maxim of life.

I think the Boros fight could've been a lot better. It was well animated, but I don't really like it when it turns into "the guy's moving so fast he turns into streaks of light". Similarly, the whole "punch from a hundred different directions" thing doesn't make for impressive choreography. Overall, the fight was still good, but it doesn't hold a candle to the Genos/Saitama fight.

Yeah I felt a little let down awell. The streaks of light thing was a bit lazy.

+ Show Spoiler +Unfortunately the mangaka is truly wiser than I. I only saw the figurative doormat but he looked past that and saw the literally doormat. Truly a man beyond our age.

All the hate on best-girl in Nisekoi (if we ignore Ruri)

Best Thing that Nobody Watched of 2015 Re-Kan Etotama
Slaughter, I agree with you. Although I also watched both, so there's that. I don't think they top my estimation, however.
Also, the best girl in Nisekoi (so far; only up to chapter like 76 in the manga so the anime is the farthest I've gotten) is clearly Tsugumi. Clearly.
E's, man. E's.

In Nisekoi there is Yui, Tsugumi, and Haru and then there is everybody else. Fact.

that ending, nicely done OPM.
but wtf, why only 12episodes?! they can just follow original web release instead of waiting Yusuke Murata's version lol
|
I also watched Etotama back then and it was pretty nice. It was pretty entertaining and I liked the CGI (i think?) very much. Dunno if it wasn't watched by many. Re-kan was okay, I personally didn't enjoy it that much.

The battles were done in CGI I believe. It was an interesting stylistic distinction between the real world and the battle arena.

An image regarding the last OPM episode: + Show Spoiler +![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/FwSkJ00.jpg) Image by Chikashi Kubota, the character designer and chief animation director for the anime. Stealing a quote to go with the image: I regret that we meet in this way. You and I are of a kind. In a different reality, I could have called you friend." RIP Boros ; ;7

RIP Boros ; ;7 I've read variations of that quote before. Always liked it.

I think they set their people on recreating Murata's style, which is a lot easier and faster if you have a sample. If they had to adapt it from the webcomic they would have to draw from scretch instead of basically copying it.
Murata is supporting a second season though.

But I think only a handful of people here said that it's good, nobody said it was amazing and only Spazer said it was his favourite this season. Doesn't really matter though.^^
