What a fantastic ending line, not all of us can have the privilege to have our life ended by onii-chan.
Wow, kiseki is so cute. Her hair is kind of like Natsume or Nadeko or something but meh. I love this episode Mari in santa outfit! Why are these girls so best and bless this author for putting all of them in so many different outfits
So much this. Really nice episode, that ending was great. Not that it was unexpected, to be honest...
Mari is really great, I like her the best. She doesn't have boobs going for her, but that doesn't even matter in this case.
i see alot of opm video clips in facebook, even some people i know who doesn't watch anime (or like don't go out of their way to watch anime outside the ones they watch on tv) watches opm lol
Dropped Garo at ep 9. Pretty bad. Seimei can't carry the show by herself. Some of the episodic stories had promise, but the pacing was complete ass in all of them. The fights were a total letdown. There's still hope for the movie at least.
Dropped Young Black Jack at ep 9. Wasted potential. Using the issues of the sixties as a backdrop was pretty neat, but they didn't explore them in any sort of depth at all. The medicine is really just magic, so it's not even interesting to watch. Finally, none of the characters are particularly good. Maybe the actual Black Jack manga is better...
Monogatari gonna Monogatari.
Gundam IBO is probably my favorite show this season. My primary complaint is that the fights have been pretty lackluster. G-Reco had great fights in comparison. All the girls in Tekkadan are pretty awful, so it's a good thing the Turbines are around to make up for it. I thought Mikazuki was going to be a boring MC, but he's been surprisingly decent. Truly a rarity for a Gundam protag. I do wonder what the scope of the show is going to be like. I feel like it's going to culminate in interplanetary war or something, but they've spent an entire cour traveling to Earth thus far.
Subete ga F is my second favorite show this season. I think this is the first time I've seen a mystery anime actually present the mystery in a reasonable manner.
Sakurako is mediocre. The mysteries exist more as vehicles to deliver the plot than as puzzles to be solved. It reminds me of UN-GO in that respect, though UN-GO was far more entertaining. The characters suck. The MC is dense as fuck, and Sakurako isn't particularly endearing either. There is a central plot of sorts, but I'm having a real hard time bringing myself to care about it. I still question why the death sidekick exists. She's appeared in every single episode so far (except one!), even if she only gets a minute of screentime at a time. The one positive thing I will say about this show is that at least they had the sense to do away with that ridiculous transformation scene.
Concrete Revolutio has some good ideas, but the story's a mess. I actually like the whole present/future thing, but the way it's presented is so incredibly haphazard. It also doesn't help that consecutive episodes don't necessarily occur in chronological order. It worked for Haruhi, but it doesn't work here. On the bright side, the designs are neat and the animation is pretty good.
Not gonna lie, I skip through a lot of each One Punch Man episode. Having read the manga, I don't have the patience for some of the longer gags and scenes. At this point, I'm really just in it for the fights.

I dunno Subete seems to be trying to hard with all its psuedo-philosophy. Sakurako-san did kinda just be a lot of side stories but now its all coming together and you can see the connections and little things from previous episodes that are now tying into this one big case. Maybe I like Sakurako-san more because I actually know people very similar to her? lol.
New Makoto Shinkai work ? .. i hope this isn't another goddamn advertisement like Crossroads
Rough translation of the trailer:
Girl: When I woke up this morning, I was crying for some reason. This happens at times.
Boy: I can never remember what I dreamt. But... I'm always searching for something, someone.
Girl: I've been possessed by those feelings ever since probably that day.
Boy: That day... The day with the star-filled sky... It was as if...
Girl: As if... Like the scenery in the dream, it was just...
Together: A beautiful view.
Text: I'm searching for you whom I've never met.
this is great thanks for the translation S-God wooo makes me hyped more (though it'll most likely take forever before i get to watch this even after this movie are out in the theaters )

Not sure how serious you are but how about disliking the fanbase instead of the anime because the anime really didn't change lol.

Interesting read, thanks. Seems like my assessment of the shows I dropped after 1-3 episodes were correct, so I don't regret dropping them. I agree about Sakurako-san and the skips in OPM are perfectly understandble.
And geez, I think I should try to get into the Gundam franchise next year. Way too much talk (and shows) about it all the time...
