BTW any 90's or newer movies that you would like to suggest? any worth watching by your opinion no genre and stuff... just a movie. 5 cm per sec if you feel like you wanted to go emo. I would recommend Wolf Children it's one hell of a healing movie and just great overall except for that one scene, there will be one weird scene you needed to go through you'll know what i'm talking about once you watch it after that hurdle everything is wonderful in that movie. I heard Studio Ghibli movies are like Pixar of anime so there's that too. | ||

I haven't seen all of them but I would personally whole-heartily recommend Spirited Away and Whispers of the Heart. Howl's Moving Castle and Castle in the Sky both were pretty good, too. Aside from that, Tsumiki no Ie is a short "minimal" movie that really surprised me. Definitely worth the time investment. | ||

I mean I'm half way and can give you my thoughts now, they won't change by the end. It's just your standard shounen sports anime. Cast is reasonable as always. Got the weird oddly close special first year pair, the older serious but nice captain who puts in his all to still be relevant, the old ace who gets powered up by the new special oddly close pair and the cute manager who surprises the team every now and then with inspiration. Oh also the rival school from a different prefecture that they practice with at the start and use as their "dream" to beat each other at nationals. If you like this kind of thing than Haikyuu is for you. Characters are all decent enough and animation/sound is good. Story is pretty run of the mill as always. Manager is hotter than Kuroko's but not as big a character so don't know if that's a plus. It doesn't quite have the burning passion that Symphogear has or the slightly lesser heat of Kuroko though. I'd label it under "trashy pandering show that's fun" if that helps. There are worse ways to spend your time but it won't be something you remember years later. Now Cross Game on the other hand is far more special. If you want a sports anime that isn't your usual shounen cut and paste then check that out. I'm not much of a sports anime man so there may be other older ones that are just as good. Miragee if you want more indepth I can do it after I'm done I guess. It's not something that warrants that level of effort or thought though lol | ||
