Anyone else seen the GX enemy designs? Seems like enemies are real mahou shoujos this time. And dolljoints.

Hmmmm, you really want me to spoiler it? Well, okay, I'll answer how it ends, in really broad strokes, and really vaguely.
+ Show Spoiler +Season 1 has a happy end that prioritizes coolness over making sense, and is an end that allows for Symphogear G, which is in ways better than the first season IMO. Season 1 ends very differently than how you would expect it to end based on the first episode.

And do you mean 1/100...? As far as Zakus go, I can't imagine the Origin Zaku being all that special, considering there have probably been more Zakus produced than any other type of mobile suit gunpla.

Texhnolyze Mushishi Hourou Musuko Tatami Galaxy Kuuchuu Buranko I also like FMAB and I enjoy feels stuff every once in a while. 5 Centimeters per second is probably one of my favorite anime movies. I will confess to drinking alcohol while watching some anime though. I recently watched Texhnolyze and Ergo Proxy. I see you like Texhnolyze but I'm curious if you enjoyed Ergo Proxy. Also, any particular reason you rate Texhnolyze so highly? i think znf wrote something about technolize here on his blog

G was a mess in a way, with cliffhangers every week. But I enjoyed it a lot anyway.
The origin zaku has a completely new mold, there's quite a few sweet things about it, for example movable monoeye and basically a proper inner frame. Not to mention dat rifle.

I felt the same...the beginning was so slow and super confusing.
I think ep11 or 12 was when the intensity got kicked up 500%.
The Steins Gate OVA was pretty good.

Ergo Proxy is great.
Texhnolyze is the best anime ever made. It aspires to something that few anime can even hope to claim, and achieves it in stellar fashion. Episodes like...19-20 on their own are superior to entire seasons of anime and feature some of the most atmospheric and haunting images in the medium.
It is subtle in its imagery and symbolism, but still maintains the semblance of an extremely understandable storyline, in the sense that you know what Texhnolyze is talking about, understanding the imagery and symbolism merely enriches the experience immensely rather than exists as an inhibitor to your enjoyment. In that sense, Texhnolyze is "accessible" to a wide audience but is also incredibly sophisticated to grapple with, and few anime can boast the same level of detail on the human condition and existence that Texhnolyze achieves.
Even past all the high art and thought provoking ideas that Texhnolyze sets out to achieve, it still has, like I explained above, various elements that people enjoy in a story. It has characters that have conflicting aspirations, goals, motives, and play various interesting roles throughout the story. The plot is well structured and follows through various arcs with great pacing, and various other elements like music are also pretty good as well.
