Or... you won't get it even if you watch the episode for a while. Can't into dual-language-pun. I had Serial Experiments Lain on my hard drive for some time now so I thought I would throw it in there as well... For the MAL score, it doesn't mean anything in that segment anymore. It's placed lower than #500. Could be excellent and underrated, could be shit, could be average... I watch ep4 now and I think it was a lot better than the first three episodes, if only because some things started to make sense (to me). | ||

Great episode. Sensei is amazing - the best kind of teacher. I've had teachers like that, who looked out for me and gave me plenty of advice outside of the discipline they were teaching me in - who were not only teachers, but friends. I've said before how I find Hachiman quite relatable, and with that episode, this feeling of understanding has gotten stronger. Overthinking everything, reading between lines, unable to take people at face value... once again, experiences I've had before. | ||

Kind of like how Texhnolyze is the best anime ever made and that's not even ranked below 800. The strangest one that was ranked so low though was Satoshi Kon's Paranoia Agent. I can't for the life of me understand how it could be ranked almost #900. Even if you discard a lot of the stranger elements (such as the opening song) and you love other Satoshi Kon works, it's still one of Kon's better works (and I think it's his best). e: Hourou Musuko too. Now that's a fucking travesty. Hourou Musuko was sooooo good | ||
