I haven't actually watched it yet, I just spoil myself by lurking /m/. Normally I just grab HorribleSubs or CrunchySubs when it comes out on Sunday. But, since I've already played through OG2, and I basically know what the plot will be like, I don't mind spoilering myself with this show. But from what I've read, the most recent episode was very good, look forward to it. | ||

Will update later with my impressions, especially because this is a LQ version that uses official subs. But Doki promised to re-translate the movie later for their HQ version, so there is still hope. Edit 1, 15 minutes into the movie: - Subtitles are "ok", sometimes the timing is slightly off or they leave out something that is not necessarily that important - IT'S SOOOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL - OMG THE SOUNDTRACK - Raising Heart speaks correct english :O - The first battle is better than everything in the real season 1 together so far Edit 2, 23 minutes: - Nooo, they changed Bardiche's VA - Fate transformation <3 Edit 3, 46 minutes and earlier: - It's TSAB not DAB *nitpick* | ||

It's easily the best thing that ever happened to the Nanoha franchise. Beautiful, epic, engaging. It's Season 1 without all the stuff that bogged Season 1 down. Better battles. Even a little more background about Fate. I'll recommend it for everybody who hasn't seen Nanoha so far and even die-hard fans like me will LOVE the movie. 10/10 + Show Spoiler + I didn't like the change to Bardiche's voice, but that's to be expected of a Fate fanboy like me. Also, some minor translation errors that can easily be fixed by competent fansub groups. Edit: Also they cut a lot of NanoFate related stuff, but that's to be expected for a movie. Everything else... Just wow. | ||

For some reason, that series wasn't as satisfying as Ghost in the Shell or FMA:B. What would you guys recommend? I also liked Full Metal Panic, espcially Fumoffu. Any else similar to it? Going to start watching Cowboy Bebop now... | ||
