I don't think this is a bad adaption, and the author himself is helping them rewrite it to make it flow better for an anime format but a lot of my favourite scenes were altered or changed and that makes me a bit sad.

The mountain training and the results of it(Issei didn't change at all, in the novels he supposedly became noticeably more buff afterwards)
And some other smaller things.
But again, i think it's a fine adaption and the story is still the same and flows just as well and it's not because anything is really being left out that harms the story or characters.
Just some of the small things that are lost in the text->animation format i guess
Atleast Ravel appeared in all her greatness. Toooo cute.
wait Ravel is the sister from the phoenix guy? She might actually be literally worst girl in all of DxD...

Wut? She barely has had any time in the anime ;x how do you make this call? Unleashing knows her from when she has a much bigger role later in the LNs.

Yeah, she's a Phenex. She's pretty adorable in the LN. I haven't watched her in the animu yet. Maybe in an hour.

lol no. I do thorough research into anime coming out before deciding what to watch  It just so happens that this season doesn't have a ton of interesting anime or they started out really slow so far.

Trying to get the Hestia hype, I read the Danmachi manga yesterday and it was decent. I didn't like how the last published arc finished but it was an entertaining read for the night. I kinda get the appeal of Hestia, if it is somehow more than her oppai.
Too bad there aren't EN translations for the LNs besides the official ones now.

The Hestia hype is anime onry. She is just the status menu in LN, and occasionally pushes plot forward in a Rukia way.
