I know i got it from somewhere that wasn't netflix. I finished Chihayafuru...loved it. Loved the characters, and the pacing was nice, and the game was beautiful and intense and made me really wanna play. One question, is it Caruta or Karuta? I ask because the subs had it as Karuta, and in some other forums they put Karuta as well...but in the show on everybody's shirts it's Caruta. edit: I also heard there's big news concerning chihayafuru coming really soon....most likely season 3 incoming (please, please, please!) | ||

That part was so cool. The manga is currently tying up loose ends. I expect it to finish within the year. Imas CG 1st cour is done. It was fine I guess. The drama sucked as expected. I feel there is a distinct lack of silly eps. Hell, the biggest reason I stuck with the 765 series was because of the beach ep. The closest thing we got is that game show with Anzu. If nothing else, the show's raised my opinion of Cinderella Girls, though I suspect that is partly due to how much I hated Million Live. Speaking of which, it seems they've reined in their camera control a bit after that abysmal concert in the movie. Punch Line is probably the show with the most impressive visual design (and thus, unsurprisingly, the best op sequence) this season. It's a real shame that the content's lacking. Remember when Noitamina meant something? Pet Shop is so damn cool. | ||

Omg, that killed me, thanks. :D Well the first movie goes through a lot of stuff about puppets so even if you don't know Touka it's still foreshadowed. I don't know if she even has a real body anymore. Maybe the conversation with Shiki about being a doll was actually referring to herself as well. Don't have to know other typemoon to watch KnK as it's kind of connected but not connected. It's weird like that lol. There weren't really any asspulls that I remember. Everything fit into how the characters are. Shiki can cut anything she perceives as living iirc. That means even ideas. It's kind of a theme of typemoon that high class magus's are arrogant and think in a certain way it seems. Same thing happens in Fate/Zero where a high class magus fights under certain assumptions and gets wrecked. Overall I don't think it was as good as people claim but I still enjoyed it. Felt the storytelling fit the narrative pretty well. That sense of confusion and repetitiveness was really conveyed well. edit: You people really do just jump on whatever new oppai train comes along each season. I don't understand. | ||
