They are all aware of the implications of Tobe's confession, and act accordingly to counter it. The two-facedness of their actions (and Hayama's selfish motivations in particular) were really the highlight of this arc. In the end, the only real dumbass is Tobe. Hachiman's streak of self-sacrifice continues and will probably be a future plot point, but meh.
Ep 2 also showcased how lazy the op is. The vast majority of it is reused footage lawl.

sidonia is def AOTY contender . it doesnt have the emotional impact of parasyte or wow factor of aldnoah but instead succeeds at its own unique style and gets +++ points from me for doing so

You should know what CGI is, right...? The entire anime is done in it, not just the mecha parts, but the people too. CGI is terrible for mecha (unless its by Orange), and even worse for people, so I'm incapable of watching. Ofc its my opinion, but I hate CGI.

I hate CGI too Sent. Don't really know of anyone that actually likes CGI, I understand why they use it but I hate when they use it. Sometimes I can just power through the shit CGI if I like the content though. Maybe if they weren't using CGI just to cut costs it would be fine but that's not what happens.

Sidonia would be more or less impossible to do without CG though. Animating the gauna would be a nightmare. It might be possible to do all the human scenes hand-drawn, but the nature of the show means that segregating the CG from the hand drawn portions quickly becomes awkward (eg. Benisuzume, Tsumugi).
Hell, I'm just happy we're getting Blame.

nagi's anime got such a interesting world and the music from nagi is very relaxing too .. Just the goddamn rival guy is damn irritating .. The heroine is ok but also annoying sometimes.

Wow I usually stick with the shounen type fantasy battle style animes but how damn good was shigatsu wa kimi no uso? The ending was heartbreaking and beautiful.

Pretty mediocre.
I always wondered why anyone would read the Shigatsu manga (goody?). Because I feel Shigatsu would be nothing without the music and the colors.
