Well just watched the new Shigatsu and I'm even more persuaded to believe Sent is very right.
Also watched the new Shirobako, that's quickly becoming one of my favorites of everything i've seen recently (like in the last year or so). I'm not even sure why i love it so much, it's just every episode i'm so pumped about watching and when the ep. ends i'm like "AHHH FUCK YOU FOR ENDING, MUST NEED MOAR!!"
Still have boats, TokyoGhoul, saekano/saikano or w/e it's called, and Shinmai Maou no Testament to watch. plus i haven't even started nisekoi yet, and i also have like 2 other completed ones i dled but haven't watched, AND there's actually quite a bit from this season to air that i wanted to at least check out the first ep. or 2. Man, I'm loving this whole having lots of anime to watch, but part of me is missing the old way i was, and having all the really good shows i've seen to watch over and over. I'm not even sure when i'll find time to go back and rewatch shows that i've been wanting to rewatch

I think it's quite good, just not as good as OP1.

Yeah, I like it but it's not as good as first op.

The last episode i watched was ep 3 and i don't know whether i should just drop it or continue in the hopes that it will be good Depends on what you're expecting from it. I think it's horribly overrated as a deep/emotional/feels anime but it's a decent shounen in general.
That is what I would say as well. It has some nice feel scenes but you can't really take it seriously because there are generally some weird comedy scenes to destroy the mood immediatly as soon as it is build up. I have accustomed to it by now and it's ok, just don't expect heart-breaking feels.

Apparently it's an adaption from an online game where girls are WW2 japanese warships or something. Ends up being Girls surfing on the sea with weapon suits, being flag ships and taking down beasts and stuff + some slice of life thrown in for the anime I guess. It's called Kantai Collection.

I dunno, Shigatsu is probably the first "school yard romance" type anime I have ever liked. Fan service is a huge deal breaker for me, especially with kids of this age and I find the show to have incredible restraint in this area compared to the vast majority of others.
Also I'd like to point out that the cheese factor is way more relatable given the age as well. I remember being 12-16 and I had some MAJOR crushes that had me thinking all sorts of insanely sappy things but of course my actions moved much slower than my fantasies if they moved at all. It is frustrating because it is supposed to be.
Apart from all this, the music is great and the animation is beautiful. I am definitely a fan.

Shigatsu isn't too bad imo. New OP is different from the older one but I think it's almost as good.

+ Show Spoiler +![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/aiOiWZL.png) I wonder if Ginko is Kureha's mother, of if she just killed Kureha's mother D: Seems like the show might be a huge allegory for homosexuality in Japan/the world.
I guess we'll have to wait a few episodes for a clearer picture. I can't tell what is symbolism and what is just weird to screw with my mind.

CUTE girls as motherfucking BOATS. Are you not hyped! Also I can't take any "romance" show seriously when they have the whole childhood friend element to it. Seriously just stop using it already. In fact just don't put any romance in high school. Learn to write proper stories with good characters in a setting that allows actual good romance to happen.

Not anymore.
I found Clannad to be a kind of well written romance for a TV show. But that is as far as I can think of for Highschool romance. Btw. where is the romance written by your turd? Waiting for that for at least 2 month now.

It derailed a bit unfortunately. I think now all it can write is a story about a man sinking slowly into depression as his ambition and dreams slowly crumble around him. Maybe give it a few months to get into the romance mood again. I'll prep it up by digesting all the shitty teen romance I can so it knows what is truly horrible.

The hand to hand combat in the latest GBF episode felt pretty lazy. Seems a bit odd to make one character a martial artist and proceed to not choreograph his fights. Half the fight just consisted of Sekai running at the other guy with singular punches. All I'm asking for is more interesting exchanges...
The idea behind Junketsu no Maria seems solid, but I can't say I care much for its execution in some places. The characters in particular were kinda grating.

Always thought the manga was more about development of Kousei as an artist/musician more than those romances.
