There's just enough gory that it's not too much and I like the characters. I wish the MC would just come out and mention to Maruno and his dad the source of his change/strength. I mean, I can understand why he doesn't but it does feel like it would make his life easier.

Still, I'm glad that he's able to fight on his own now even if its at the cost of Migi having to sleep for 4 hours. Seeing him be helpless the whole time without Migi's help would've been a bit of a drag. I wonder where Kara will fit in this anime though. So, she's quite perceptive it seems and knows something is up with him but that's all so far.

Him throwing the dead puppy in the garbage can though, dang, quite bizzare even if its dead T.T I wish he could maintain all his current strength but find a way to recover his old self. Ever since that day he got stabbed in the heart by his "mom", he's never been the same though they gave some reason for it. I kinda miss the guy who used to wear glasses and acted a bit awkward lol.

About Karak, I'm wondering if she has been infected too... We know the parasytes can detect each others. Kara being able to 'feel' them is truly intriguing.

hmm I dunno tbh. It's possible but we haven't seen anything of it at all. In other cases, we at least got to see the parasite and the host work together. Maybe she's just really perceptive without having a parasite? I mean, migi was saying it and didn't say she is one of them as well. Only other thing I can think of is that the parasite she got didn't mature yet but usually it happens pretty fast so that can't be right so maybe she's just a unique human who can sense the wavelengths.

yes, agree. I saw it as him being cold even though technically, it's dead. Rational from that perspective too but from a human one, it feels cruel since it's about respecting the dead. The 10th episode though, glad Yuko was ok. When she was planning to meet with Shimada, it was like, wtf, did you even think this through? lol. Do you really think he'll stop if you confront him about it? If anything, he'll come after you because you know his secret. Glad she's ok though.

Murano too, she believed that adrenaline helped Izuma jump from 3 floors up. I mean, I'm not totally convinced that she thinks it's the case and probably feels he's hiding something but considering he saved her life, she probably won't push for an answer. My hope is that she'll learn his secret in the next 2-3 episodes. I don't want a smallville kind of reveal where they'll learn his secret episode 21 or something before the anime finishes. Excited to see what else is in store for us :D

I think with that girl it's more like she has the little bits of a parasyte inside her sort of like how he does after migi saved him. This would explain (to me) how she can sense him and how migi can't sense a parasyte in her since it's not a "full" parasyte and migi is probably just overlooking the minute details. he did say that he couldn't communicate with the little bits left inside Izuma.

Maybe she had sex with one of the guy with parasyte...? I'm just guessing hah. For her to have tiny bits, she must have been in contact with one... Body fluids?

1- Failed infestation?
2- Sex? Kissing?
3- She breathed the tiny bits? But that would be scary if the parasytes can be transmitted airborne.
4- Or evolved infestation?

Pretty sure they won't give a reason better than her innate instincts. I highly doubt she is related to parasytes in any meaningful way beyond the current magic. Migi mentions early on that some humans are simply more perceptive at detecting this kind of stuff than others, but she's a special outlier case. Either way, her character is obviously set up to die. Which is unfortunate since I liked her character design but sadly she is dumb enough to go chasing after things which will kill her.

Migi and Parasite are what the parasites are "intended" to become by God/Earth/whoever is creating them. The symbiotic organisms they've formed are far, far superior to the lone parasites in both combat and general ability to survive. That or they're just supposed to be the top of the food chain.

I do wish he'd still wear glasses because his character design looks pretty dopey without them imo. It is surprising his cold/rational side hasn't pushed him to hook up/manipulate Kana into being his parasite-sensor when Migi is asleep, but that may be coming soon.

She simply has an esper type skill to detect them. You can also call it an instinct or a heightened sense of awareness. Thats about it.
