GIven that Norma are treated as things and not human, actually what surprise me more is how they "obediently" be DRAGON fighter and protect the main kingdom and stay at the island when they appear to be superior in power (?) (can break Light of Mana and stuff). They even bully newcomers into believing that's there purpose of existence. For people who are taken there since young like Coco may not realize the existence of the main kingdom, but the commanders seem to know. Why not form an army and revolve against the kingdom. Or let DRAGON destroy the main kingdom and kill DRAGON later | ||

Their wills were broken and with time, they learned that resistance was futile and just learned to go along with it. Basically, they lost whatever resolve they had before they came to the island. Whenever someone new came, they got bullied and assimilated with them too losing their resolve with time etc... Well, I don't think that's the case. I mean, they certainly have firepower but to take on the kingdom after they learned to live this way. You're essentially telling them to break the status quo and change things which might've grown used to. Think of it this way: they go up against the kingdom and win, what's next? they rule it? They're only so many of them so they'll eventually fall considering they'll have to take the kingdom by force in turn turning the people even more against them. Also, guns still exist since it was turned on Ange at one point and her mom died from a gunshot so even if they could break the light of mana, they can't go up against an army (likely other heavier weapons available that can damage their mech as well). Why not let dragon destroy it? Well, what's the end goal? I figure they would want to live a free life and finding a way to get accepted into the kingdom is the best way rather than letting the dragons destroy it then beat them and go back to nothing. Good questions though  | ||
