UBW + Show Spoiler +First ep was great. THE HYPE IS REAL. Is the series mostly from Shirou or Rins perspective? Was hoping Rins perspective because I've already seen enough of Shirou from FSN. Even though I'm sure he'll be done better in this series.. + Rin & Archer have good chemistry that would be fun to watch.
Also Terra formars + Show Spoiler +It's not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be./////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// interested in finding out a bit more about t///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// how did they get on the ship?///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// do they get to ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Log Horizon animation was pretty bad. Once I get over it the anime will be godlike again. Oh wells....

I don't think it'll get to that point, but if it does I am going to rage. Not that I stopped raging about it ever since I saw the beginning of that arc.
I can just skip like the 1.5+ vols right, won't even get enough Sasha to compensate for that shit.
Too bad, it was half decent fantasy up to that point too. I've been reduced to reading the mmorpg/game oriented stuff for fantasy. This is where danmachi gets an adaptation and gets killed. Final hope is probably something like umm, Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活. At that point I can probably just start pretending s;g is fantasy.
Inb4 I give up on genre and only read the hero 2ch fantasy parody one zz

What exactly was going on with all the time skip scenes. Is that just teasing the viewer to keep watching?

I didn't watch yet but vol 6 and 7 were the same time from 2 perspectives with a bit of jumping back and forth with flashbacks and in-character drivel, maybe just that?

Yes LH is combining vol 6 and 7 as they happen at the same time. Which is a good thing because of how weak Vol 6 was. They are also throwing preview scenes that are confusing a lot of people, but those scenes will be explained later. The previews are just to get people interested and to pad the run time. Weirdest thing in the preview for me was to see them animate the green character when it was such a ridiculous description in the short story. This season will probably cover Vol 6-9 and Kanami's side story to reach 25 episodes.
|
Never watched a starting episode of a new anime season that was as lame as the one from LH. Wow was that bad. No hype, no development, nothing one would cheer for for a new season lol
Terribly disappointed.

Kirito introducing Asuna only as his friend lol.

Don't think the Author is a good enough writer to write good romance between the two so he just ignores it now. Most likely regrets how he married them and had them have a child at the start.

UBW episode 1 was good, real good.

One question about UBW. + Show Spoiler + Did they change the locket? I could have sworn she had it with her for years, slowly feeding it magic, instead of just getting it at the start of the war from her dad's chest.

Wait, what's wrong with this? gf/bf can't be friends? I don't really understand this but i'm assuming it's a western thing. Besides, the whole introduction was scripted from the beginning. It was to ease Sinon in. I think it would be pretty weird if he was like "this is my girlfriend".

Yeah you are right. minor detail. + Show Spoiler +TBH the pendant in the VN presented some loophole with its healing power, especially in UBW after Rin be able to use Zelretch, she would be able to charge it relatively easy. So change the origin kinda skip around all that

Think of it from Asuna's POV. Here's this girl that's basically walking PTSD ass crack that has been ass cracking it up with your BF for a few days along with being confined to a small cave with him and her ass crack. Then your BF introduces you as merely a friend to this girl? Man that's waiting for all hell to break loose. That's textbook example of how to get into a huge fight with your girlfriend.
Hell they not even girlfriend and boyfriend. He's already glopped years worth of semen into her and had a child. You don't introduce your wife as your friend to another person.

Asuna already knew of Sinon's situation because Kirito already told her. There's not gonna be any fight. Besides, Asuna doesn't even care about all the other girls that really like kirito. She has an indomitable faith in him.
I don't count virtual marriages as real marriages(and i don't think Asuna or kirito does either) but okay.

Doesn't matter what you count it as it matters what the characters count it as. They have expressed time and time again how it isn't just a "virtual" world that isn't real to them. At times they seem to believe that the virtual world is more real than the real one. They clearly put a lot of importance on both their child and what happened back then.
Asuna not caring about Kirito's harem I think as more to do with her complete lack of character or personality. She's more like a faithful dog than a girl in my eyes.

Of course they do. But then again, you wouldn't have Asuna crying into kirito's chest on ep 13 of SAO S1 begging that she wants to date and marry him in real life if she really considered the virtual world and the real world one and the same.
Idk man, girls need to give their bfs/husbands some room too you know. It's not like Kirito is going around confessing his love to everyone, having sex with them, and planning to leave asuna.

I guess that's why people call her dutch wife? But even if we ignore it... let's say Kirito is an idiot who doesn't understand what's going, which probably is the case like in 99% of every harem show... if Asuna is aware of the situation it's still a major dickmove to let him introduce her as "just" a friend.
