Nadesico was at its best in either its first 3 episodes, or when it was trying to be funny. Conversely, Nadesico was at its worst when it was trying to be super serious, like Prince of Darkness (fuck that movie, the single worst thing that Ecael likes). And yeah, Maison Ikkoku is an all time classic, not sure why that was surprising to goody. Its like Takahashi Rumiko's most celebrated all time work. | ||

Not sure I'd recommend it but the third movie is imo one of the top 5 anime movies of all time that I have seen at least. So... I might recommend it just for that alone. I rate it only behind the latest Gintama movie. (Which was excellent/hilarious). | ||
