I don't know why they'd have a "never before seen ending"... Makes it sound like they're just trying to do fan service....in which case it's probably going to be bad....

(aka. lame) i think most of the new stuff they are putting in is what happen after they "reborned"

I think I'll wait and see before passing judgment on the Angel Beats epilogue. If everything goes well, maybe it'll be like one of the Clannad after stories. If we're lucky.

Anyways, this will either shatter my interest in Berserk or keep me hooked. Here's hoping for the latter and hoping the damn material would finish up because that shit is like DBZ-level dragging on roids.

My main point though, was adding more stuff on top isn't really going to help the series get better.

I loved Samurai 7, i think it's a really underwatched Anime, not many people i meet know about it. It's just such good writing, the animators also did an awesome job. It's epic. Same goes for Heat Guy J, i enjoyed watching it. Ev'ry episode helped develop the world and the characters, whitch of there were many, each of them different and interesting, with good subplots to them. Writers did such a great job telling the story and it all just fell into place and clicked for me. To that you had a strong main plot that came to satisfying conclusion. What a great show. I watched Samurai Champloo because it had a soundtrack by Nujabes, i turned out terrible. No plot, the whole series were made out of filler episodes that didn't tie anything together, the overal arc and finale were unnoticable, underdeveloped and i didn't care about them or any of the characters. I spent the first 20 episodes waiting for ANYTHING TO HAPPEN but to no avail. It just ended, with a ev'ry end loose. The characters were estabilished as invicinble from the beginning so there was absolutely no tension. The fights were alright. What a terrible, BORING show, waste of time, i advise against watching it.

But brilliant? O.o Now that I think about it, this movie means we're not getting FMP anytime soon. Bah.
