Black Bullet: so, I guess it's over. Too bad, I liked the anime though the pacing as usual was pretty bad lol. + Show Spoiler +We went from them fighting which was ok into Kisara being evil because they got revenge for her parent's death into the new Gastrea law being accepted after the fight. They could've easily made that into 2 episodes and provided some background on Kisara's past (did they give us much early on?) but again, too much had to be done in one episode. Also, Rentaro breaking down on the train at the end, so uncharacteristic of him. I mean, yes, he does get sad before but to break down all of a sudden. Guess he finally had a moment to reflect on everything now that the fight is over and it hit him hard head on, rough All in all, not a bad anime but definitely suffered from some pacing problems.

Aslo Bigfan, since you finished Sidonia what did you think of the little teaser at the end of episode 12? :D
It takes me a bit of time to read a manga chapter. I find myself just studying the pictures and the details especially if it's a nicely drawn one so ya, those 50 chapters a couple of hours to read at least lol. I guess that's one reason to wait. Other one is that I'm not sure if I will want to continue watching the anime if we get a 2nd season if I catch up to the latest manga chapter. I know with Naruto, I got sick of waiting and eventually dropped the anime (fillers played quite the role though) so I don't want that to happen with Nisekoi but I might just throw in the towel eventually.
As for teaser, you mean the Gauna that looks like some umm guardian or w/e it's called? Looked awesome! + Show Spoiler +I accidentally spoiled that the Gauna or benisuzume doesn't die that easily lol but I guess I knew that from the teaser. Regardless, I'm excited for season 2! :D

lol. I'll get to the 4th episode eventually XD I'm just into the romcom and mech genre atm so bake hasn't managed to hold my interest just yet. Maybe when more girls join the group (Yawn at crab :O ) then I'll get more interested.

np, glad you liked it. It had mech but it was quite the thriller imo. I loved the action and those scenes were done really well especially the benisuzume fights. That Gauna is ridiculously good! I love it! <3 ya, the imagination part was good too since you had to wonder what's going to happen next etc...

Well that too, but I also meant just trying to come up with backstory and overall explanations of the world Sidonia is set in. And you were right, the Benisuzume parts were awesome and a little creepy (dat laugh!!!) I'm also marathoning Toradora right now b/c of your rec and really enjoying it. I figured after watching that crazy action packed sci-fi a nice romcom would sorta mellow things out a little.
Then my plan is to marathon as much monogatari as i can, probably up until this current season. Im not sure yet.

Well just think about it. If all you have is moe Nagato and normal Kyon, how is the show any different from a standard shoujo? The novelty of the manga wore off pretty quickly.

I got Sasaki out of that manga now so I think I've gotten just about everything I wanted. Long hair Haruhi and Sasaki.

I am wondering how Ryuhou)aS( will feel about Toradora's last 3-4 episodes. Basically all my criticism of my show is centered in how the author handled it. Did a similar thing in Golden Time too but not as bad.

+ Show Spoiler +Yea I agree with you there. Linda somehow entering into his mind "thing" was weird and silly. Whats weird is that they basically made any indications that she might have liked him be soooo freaking subtle that it basically was non-existent until the last episode when she "came to terms with it". Was just really poorly done imo.

Argvollen ep 1 was pretty generic. They really need to stop using the whole "inexperienced kid soldier gets secret mecha by chance" schtick.
Tokyo Ghoul ep 1 was generally ok with prolonged periods of mc annoyance.

I thought the first half was pretty good, liked the design of the lumbering mechs, those looked cool. Than the second half was just blargh. As generic as things can get. Kinda annoying.

When he tore up the picture she was hurt sure because anyone would be in that situation. The scene where they were taking pictures was more getting caught up in the moment. She spent the entire series supporting him in his new life because she stayed away while he was in the hospital so she was trying to help him out now in moving on. She never made any kind of move on him or told him she liked him. They only hinted in the flashback with the whole "everything I said was opposite" but that was back then. They never firmly established that she liked him in the present and only wanted to help him get back on his feet. She was super supportive of their relationship the whole time then suddenly we get a confession of love and a "its ok I'm over it" in the same bloody scene.
