I am not entirely sure of the chronological order because I have only read some of the LNs but generally people watch
Bakemonogatari----> Neko Kuro Monogatari -----> Nisemonogatari -----> Monogatari Second Season.
Maybe switch Nise and Neko around, not sure about that (don't think it matters too much though).
Also don't be a Bigfan and say you will watch it but then just watch the 1st couple of episodes then keep saying "I will finish it later but I have other stuff that I want to finish 1st" as you casually add more and more stuff to watch ahead of it.

Publish and broadcast chronology is the same. Bake, Nise, Neko Kuro, S2.

I really wish they'd remake Claymore and do a proper anime, but I don't know how popular the manga still is and I doubt it'd happen.

Just watch Bake and pretend the rest dont exist. Best results.

On July 04 2014 04:57 Ryuhou)aS( wrote: Im thinking about getting into the monogatari thing, whats the order i should watch it in? Is there like a chronology? chronological order... that's a joke about how Kizumonogatari is never going to air, right?
But yeah like people said: Bake -> Neko/Nise -> Season 2 is the way to go
Kizumonogatari happens before Bake (chronologically speaking) but isn't out yet.

The Haruhi movie was pretty damn good.
+ Show Spoiler +I wonder the exact nature of Yuki's "errors". Kyon seems to think it was more born out of frustration but I wonder if she did it because she has come to love Kyon and wanted to give him a choice to have a normal life (and give her "normal" emotions so they might end up together)? Also Adult Asahina whispered something to Kyon. Does this get answered in the novels? I have a feeling it might have been "I love you" or something.

So binge watched Ping Pong over the last couple of days, and have to say it's pretty much the best sports anime I've ever seen. What sports anime should really strive to be. Great music, great art style, and great coming of age story. Really liked it. Anything else like it?
Other than that, finished Black Bullet (meh), and NGNL (if only all the fan service wasn't necessary, but otherwise was great), and was one of those people who shed manly tears watching Hunter X Hunter 135 (and a few of the eps before that).
Also finished Natsume, which, after I hated it in the first episode, turned out to be a beautiful thing. And am a bit over half way through the brilliance that is LOtGH. Now I don't know what else to be watching. If people could recommend good comedies, I'd be up for that (something like Gintama or School Boys), otherwise suspense in the vein of Monster..really unsure as to what to watch atm

Glasslip started out pretty mellow. I don't think Sachi said a friggin single word though. Dunno how the third guy will be honestly but I'm looking forward to more.
Tokyo Ghoul looks like it has great potential.

No. It's implied. + Show Spoiler + At the end of the movie, Kyon also trolls her by calling her by her first name. She looks up only to realize Kyon is saying it's snowing. =(
Don't know what she whispered, don't remember her whispering anything either =\. What happened in the movie, happened in the novels. Word for word.
Also, it's been announced there will be an anime on the spin off manga relating to the movie. http://haruhi.wikia.com/wiki/The_Disappearance_of_Nagato_Yuki-chan_(anime)
