It will always be there but there is a significant decrease in focus on ecchi in the later novels. There wasn't much, if any in the last one to be translated for example.

If you put in earbuds so that you can't hear anything and only watch the asia scenes it might actually be enjoyable. But even then, you'd have to ignore her hair.
The rest is either no-go because it's a little girl or cowtits extreme.

I honestly thought about checking it out in LN version to see if it's more bearable in non-animated fashion but decided against it.

Didn't HotD suddenly stop? Seemed like it was popular for a while then went on hiatus randomly. I don't know much about it but DxD LN are really enjoyable, especially after volume 5.

Yea I didn't care for the way the anime handled a lot of the characters *ahem* proportions. They were already on the high end for the most part in the LN illustrations but they deemed them too small for some reason.

Also i dropped HoTD due to so much bewb action. It feels like i am watching love hina more than a zombie apocalypse show. I seriously never get the fun people get from loli's and cow-tits it usually just repulses me into not watching the anime.
