Wait a minute. Did I miss something? yes, i think you miss the fact that it is NOT SHOUJO!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maid-sama! gernes: Romantics Comedy... and yeah, most people watch it bc the jokes are good, REAL good :D and its not like i dont like shoujo either, i have grown up reading Glass Mask like forever and till now i still come back and read it once for a while. It just most of shoujo are not "suit" for boy that its not even worthed to try. 1/2 Prince is also good tbh. back to manga reading: someone mentioned that mangafox has filter through the shoujo but most of the time i use the recent update so filter doesnt work =.= Read the first sentence of your link. "Maid Sama!, known in Japan as Kaichō wa Maid-sama! (会長はメイド様!, lit. The Student Council President is a Maid!?) is a shōjo manga series by Hiro Fujiwara." Comedy and Shojo are not mutually exclusive. read it yourself, they were talking about the manga but anime :> but w.e., i did correct myself on shoujo are good sometimes And the anime is an adaptation of the manga. A quick look at MAL says that the anime a shojo, so... meh, I guess it's merely sophistry. I agree, Shojo can be good sometimes, that's why I raised the whole issue in the first place.

Aside from having an interesting storyline, I'm most impressed by the fact that it is the one anime I've seen with a completely unpredictable ending. I've seen plenty of anime with various plot twists, but never one as completely unpredictable as School Days. For that, I think School Days really does win an award in my book as one of the best anime. i dont know how you judge it but i hate the story line in school day. after 7 eps, i decided to call the main char a JERK for playing around with 2 girls feeling... i like the last ending though (the horror one) Makoto is a real BRO, what are you talking about? You felt bad for the girls? Seriously, they were both manipulative sluts. I have to disagree here. While Sekai was definitively a manipulative slut, Kotonoha was nothing but manipulated the whole time, and far from a slut before she went crazy. On Amagami : While I hated the first arc because it was just plain stupid, I'm still gonna watch this because I have nothing else to do. Who knows? It may even be good sometimes. That's interesting, because I always saw Kotonoha as the more manipulative girl of the two. It was as if she was using her own fragility and innocence to capture him and fill him with guilt. It's even more present in the VN though, the anime didn't convey her manipulation to the fullest. Sekai was a lot more honest and straightforward with conveying her own feelings, which isn't a sign of being a manipulative slut. I guess you know better than me if you have played through the visual novel then, but in the anime, I really felt like Kotonoha was the victim, since she was the one who was lied to all the time and eventually got psychologically completely destroyed by the events. A manipulative girl wouldn't have denied all of this as a plan, she would have had sex with Makoto right away, since it seems like that's the best solution to manipulate him. Meanwhile Sekai manipulated Makoto with what she called "practice", which was for me a plan to make Makoto fall in love with her, even though she won't completely commit to her plan, because she feels bad for Kotonoha etc etc. But then we have all the baby thing... Well, I have to admit that Sekai's case is more complex than I thought at first, since she changes so much throughout the anime. However, I just can't imagine Kotonoha as manipulative. Maybe I should play through the visual novel to understand what you really mean. Victimization is probably the best form of manipulation. Kotonoha plays this role incredibly well. I've always seen Sekai as the more impulsive and typical girl who doesn't really consider the consequences of her actions. This doesn't make her manipulative in my opinion. But on the other hand Kotonoha is extremely calculating. For example, she pretended to be some kind of 'perfect girl' who makes Makoto lunch every day. Whenever he doesn't come or when he spends time with Sekai she tries to make him feel guilty. And when he kissed Sekai she pretends like everything is fine and acts even more innocent for her own victimizations sake. I have no idea how you perceive it totally differently, I don't think the VN differed much from the anime in terms of character traits. Moyashimon Live Action is the best show of the season. With the introduction of the maid... Oh boy :D DenYuuDen is still looking good. I'm liking it. Occult Gakuin is making my brain die by the day. Only the cliffhanger at the end of the most recent episode kept me on the series. Sengoku Basara is Sengoku Basara. More please. Nuraihyon is being cliche again. I'm just interested to see how everything will play out D:

At least I got a kick out of one of the characters being named Yomi (lol Sirlin). On August 04 2010 18:09 Woosung wrote: Kaichō wa Maid-sama! is actually one of this year's better animes. Pretty funny, although I suppose it's mostly directed to girls, considering the lack of ecchi moments. Either way, imo it's probably worth watching for both genders. And no, I didn't read through the 376 pages to see if anyone else mentioned it yet. You could've used the search function, y'know. ![]() I started watching Kodomo no Jikan. So far, I'm a little split as to whether I should be totally weirded out or if I should take the story seriously. I mean, they do a pretty good job of addressing problems normally faced by elementary school kids, but on the other hand, it's a show about a kid loving her teacher. =/ Gonna start Break Blade. Expecting good things. Edit: omg, it's one of those little hats. ![]()

From what I gather, the show's around chapters 21-22 of the manga, and there's 52 chapters out, so I really don't understand the need for filler. Maybe they just want to end the show before Hinata shows up. Anyway, Break Blade was pretty good, even if they haven't gotten to the awesome parts yet. I see that Sigyn was
