is there any more like this? i liked the degree of realism and fantasy in it. I dont really find the appeal in guys shooting balls of energy out of their hands and stuff like that, i really liked how the fighting appeal was on the physical capabilities of the characters and how vulnerable they truly were, like everyone almost died in this anime, even the guys who i thought would not die. As far as story telling and plot goes I also liked it because even though it was incredibly far fetched it still seemed to make sense in the grand scheme of things. it was really good.

Then you go fucking ridiculous later when people are invested. I'm still hoping for season 3 of DxD will be announced. Volume 5 is where it got good imho which would be where season 1 would begin. Season 2 sold reasonably well too and boosted the sales of the light novel further, so it's not too unrealistic. + Show Spoiler + Volume 5 is also the first real character-focused novel that focused around developing a certain character, and the first rating game was fun. Came for the oppai, stayed for how absolutely ridiculous and fun it has become.

Let's be honest, in-work age has basically nothing to do with design. On April 08 2014 02:34 Toadesstern wrote: Did Ayase really look that childish? Why did I like her so much ![]() In yandere mode less so? I guess

Honestly though, Sugawa and Takigawa alone would have made me like the work.

Watched Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou EP1 today. The show seemed weird enough to be enjoyable. I've no idea what's going on in that show but that's a good thing so far considering that it's done for comedic purposes. Other than that I think I said the animation looks "girlish"... idk whenever I look at it for some reason I think of really, really glossy lipstick. Don't even ask why, I have no idea. I guess that's what I've been getting at though ![]() HanaKana not in her usual role (so far?) might be something worth watching it for. I haven't really been impressed by her in that show but she had like 3 words in the entirety of the first EP (ever so slightly exaggerating) so not like I would have been able to figure out by now anyways. Nothing that really stands out about it for me, neither on the bad side nor on the bad side. The worst part is probably the cliche guy friend but you got a guy like that in EVERY anime oh yeah and animation but it's tolerable unlike other certain Anime's ... Worth a watch if you turn off your brain and enjoy the weirdness inbetween. About other stuff: That's the only thing I've watched so far. Still have to check out JoJo I guess. Have I mentioned that I want Mekaku City Actors NAO in here as well? Want to see that ![]() Anyone know what Hanamonogatari is like? Is that going to be something like Neko with about 4 to 5 episodes or is that somehow going to end up as full cour? I haven't read the source on that one so no idea @Bigfan: Kamigami no Asobi ~Ludere deorum~ EP1 is out as well, should probably check that one out

I don't think Hanamonogatari is coming out for a while.

Sadly it isn't ![]() I usually think of cutesy, little, shy characters when I think of her. Like Nadeko, Charl (IS) or that one from OreImo simply because it ended up being something I watched somewhat recently. That kuudere isn't that out of place but I wouldn't exactly call it the norm either. Maybe it's just because I watch a lot of those shows though, could go on with stuff like her in TWGOK and haganai ![]()

Anyway I have to weigh the retarded OP MC from that show against Hanakana and Hayamin zzzz. Also Hanakana in Binbougami was one of the greatest.

Annoying mc, annoying perv (it's an overused archetype but I tend to enjoy it quite a bit if executed well, I just felt it wasn't here), stupid violence scene. Romance so far boils down to love on first sight. Most of the humor fell flat for me, but maybe I wasn't in the mood. Baa-chan is cool, and they have yet to introduce another girl. Hopefully it improves in the next few eps. At least it was pretty. I liked the characters designs so solely based on that I'll watch EP2.
