Yeah. I really hope that there is a second season. At least we have an OVA/special coming in June. Better have more Konomi-chan.

NNB first vol sold 8k+, so I'm optimistic.
On that note, fuck you Japan: **3,374 WHITE ALBUM 2 **3,010 Yozakura Quartet Hana no Uta **1,643 Kyousougiga **1,144 Nagi no Asukara
Well, looks like last season is very weak in terms of sales.

why is that? Both WA2 and Nagi are really great animes. Heard good things about Yozakura and Kyousougiga from this thread as well.

People who liked WA2 would rather just play the game, why waste money on anime? Yozakura did better than I expected for something that had a fairly niche following. Kyousougiga too weird to sell. PA works is PA works.
NNB had a strange following though so I am semi hopeful, in the meantime will probably have to dig for source.

How come other vn adaptions are selling rather well then if we go by that logic (or at least better than 3k)? I feel like it's usually the other way around - fans of the vn boosting sales. Yozakura doesn't seem that niche to me, I'm not sure how popular the manga is but I assumed it should be fairly popular considering it's the second adaption already. By the way, how much did the first adaption sell? I didn't expect Kyousougiga to sell, but man this is low. Not sure what you mean by your last comment, but P.A. Works had some decent selling shows as well.

So I guess I like dissing PA Works in general.
Eh I didn't bother watching Nagi so all I did was quip about PA works, don't take that too seriously.
WA2 was already on consumer consoles, and even if it is more mainstream than WA1, I don't think the following got that much bigger. From what I saw, it was received decently well, but mostly by people fanning the game to begin with. So it might just have not broke through with a new set of audiences. At that, what VN adaptation recently sold over 3k?
Kyousougiga sold better than I expected lol. Yozakura did worse the first time around I am pretty sure.

I know you hate P.A. Works, but no matter how much you hate them it doesn't change the fact that some of their shows sold well. Though apparently Japan starts to like NnA more now + Show Spoiler +after the timeskip perhaps? , so it will probably go up a bit.

LB. Heck, even MLA:TE sold more.

LB is Key, even if it is JC Staffs Key it is gonna sell more. idk how Total Eclipse sold more though, Age fans more loyal than Leaf/Aquaplus now?
I think PA Works sales have been declining for a while overall so not like it is a new thing.

Latest Nagi episode was ok. + Show Spoiler +I think Manaka is gone for good tbh and that disappoints me Her childlike demeanor was always interesting to watch and the chemistry with her and the rest of the group. Hikari accepting his surroundings seemed too fast though and I would've preferred they waited another episode or so even if it's been 2 days now since he came back. Teasing Chisaki then her beating him was funny though so at least there's that to look forward to lol. Wonder when Kaname will wake up, hopefully soon.
On a side note, actually surprised that Japan doesn't like Nagi that much. Would've figured it was the type of anime they liked, guess not lol.

Man, I like noitaminA, but ping pong...? Really?

MLA:TE sold well? I thought it bombed. If it acutally did sell well, that makes me hopeful for a Schwaresmarken anime.

That's only vol 1, dropped to like 4k total by the final vol. Initial sales were like 3~4kish as well.

Not surprised about Yozakura Quartet. It's a really mediocre anime. You guys like it too much.

what's the amount they usually want to sell?

Hey TL ADT,
Long time lurker here, and while you guys were on the topics of VN's, I thought I'd drop by and say hi! I recently finished G-Senjou no Maou and still trying to get over that insane epilogue, but does anyone have any particular recommendations? I haven't read too many but some of the ones I've completed are:
+ Show Spoiler + Chaos;Head Ever17 Fate/Stay Night G-Senjou no Maou Katawa Shoujo Saya no Uta
Of which I enjoyed Ever17 and G-senjou no Maou the most which were really close in rankings for me, followed by f/sn. I was planning to start Sharin no Kuni next since I had it downloaded, but any particular recommendations? I've already watched Clannad/Clannad: AS and Steins;Gate so I'd prefer not to play those yet, and everyone always raves over MLA but I can't seem to get past the first two games... was White Album2 any good? Thanks!

Edit that post out before they come with pitchforks and torches lol.
