I guess it's what people want to see? I'm not familiar with the target/majority audience, so I can't say for sure, but it was still unnecessary. To be honest, I probably would have thought "Wow; what a completely obvious tear-jerk" if they left her gone because I'm an idiot, but it still would have been much more satisfying. I liked the music and animation, and the characters were fine; however, the story itself felt rushed, and there definitely seemed to be tons of narrative left out due to time constraints. I liked the transition into the opening sequence in episode 12 (I think) during the flashback scene, but the background story itself seemed improperly introduced/supported in the actual first few episodes (felt too much like retconning for me). Other than the crappy ending, though, I liked it. + Show Spoiler [Nagi no Asukara] + Soooooooooooooooooo much drama. | ||

My first impression is setting seems similar to Cross Channel and MC is pretty cool like Kenichi in Sharin no Kuni. Other characters are pretty good so far. Makina is kawaiiii. Amane is sex-depraved oneesan, Michiru is funny with her trying to be a tsundere chara, but also gets a bit annoying sometimes. Sakaki is quite crazy with his cutter lol. Music is rather average, especially compared to key VN's. Seiyuu's are pretty good: Tanaka Ryouko, Tamiyasu Tomoe, and seiyuu for kagami and suzumiya akane. Haven't seen too much in terms of story yet. Edit: Forgot about Sachi, she seems to be another crazy one with taking everything literally and seems to be able to do anything. | ||
