I watched it and liked it, not the way I usually like anime's but it had a different feel to it. Anyways I decided to ask you for more reccomendations since I'm having a really hard time finding animes worth to watch. I made a list here which took like 1 hour for me to do, there may be few I forgot to add but most of the anime's I watched are here: http://myanimelist.net/animelist/fevax&show=0&order=4I'm open to any reccomendations you have, thanks! Looking at your list, Baccano!, you might like GitS: SAC, Claymore, Madlax, Bantorra: Armed Librarians (stick with it for a while), Gungrave, Gantz.
And as for the summer list, Monday and Thursday look to be the worst for me, though I expected the Thursday craziness with noitamina, but I hate how three shows are lined up on Monday

If you liked Serial Experiments Lain and Haibane Renmei, there is a very high chance that you will like Texhnolyze too. Although I didn't
Baccano seems like a decent bet.
Also, why have you seen gits 2.0 and the tachikoma special, but not the original movie or any of the SAC shows?
|
I'm not sure which ones I saw, there are too many versions of it and It's been a long time. I saw one or maybe 2 movies and watched some of the episodes of a tv show which was decent but didn't hold my interest long because I thought they weren't progressive. It felt much like cowboy bebop in which most episodes are like mini stories and not one of a whole. Well that is not necessarily a bad thing but since I did not hold a particular interest in the concept and the series did not create an urge in me to know the story(since each episode was a story of its own) I did not finish it.
Baccano seems fun, I'll try that one first.

Hey guys, any good political anime like GITS or Gundam Unicorn? I have been waiting forever to watch something like that for a long time now.
EDIT: 6666 post by the wau

code geass and gundam 00 had a lot of political elements, might want to try them.

EDIT: 6666 post by the wau Most Gundams have political elements in them. In fact, most "Real Robot" mecha anime has political stuff in them.

Well Gundam is nice, but the dialogue sucks and it has always been really formulaic. I have already seen Code Geass.
|
Akira also has some politics(dont know if it has as much as you want or not), I can recommend that one if you haven't seen it.

Funny how when High School of the Dead becomes an anime, the manga takes a noticeably grimmer turn.
|
Ga-Rei became an anime, and the manga went from being garbage to kinda ok.
|
Yeah, I was floored by how bad the manga was. Literally everything good about the anime was unique to the anime.
Regarding fevax, you don't seem to like episodic shows. I'd also try fmp tsr, except that you dropped the first season, so you might miss some plot points (TSR is alot better than the first season imo).
Also School Days is obviously a must :p
Edit -- you also might like Monster, except that you dropped it at ep. 4

? The manga completed 3 years before the anime came out.

How good is LoGH, actually? I'm considering watching it now that I'm almost done Eureka 7, but 110 episodes just seems really daunting. I still can't believe it's an OVA.

No.. Ga Rei finished at 52 chapters. Is there a sequel or something?
|
Can anyone recommend me a good action drama with a heavy romantic element?
