I approve of Death Note. Really, go watch it. It's Saturday. I mean it's best if you go in with no expectations, but I guess that'll be hard, huh. I had no idea what Death Note was when I saw it, so I was pleasantly surprised and ended up watching the entire first arc in one go.
I loved Minami-ke, though the cross-dressing humor got pretty annoying (I think they used it more in S2 and it got mad tiresome). I'd be like... wtf is this shit? I watched the majority of it while playing Xenosaga, though, so full attention wasn't sacrificed. Btw, I don't recommend those games. Just go read Nietzsche or something.

If the anime ended like the manga, then
+ Show Spoiler +I was bitterly disappointed. What a cop-out, got owned by some idiot who didn't listen to his plans, and then had to die such a pathetic death =/. Should've ended when L died and had some epilogue where he just kept killing. Near and Mellow were such shit characters.

I use http://www.baka-updates.com/ for updates, but I download my stuff from http://tokyotosho.info/
Tokyo Tosho is kinda messy and hard to find stuff while baka-updates is really nice visually but baka-updates since last month only updates that the anime is available but not the link to the torrent itself because of funanimation shitty copyrights crybaby behavior.
Both are really good I guess.

Everyone says Death Note started to suck after "a certain event in the story", but I never thought that... it was pretty great the whole time! The manga was, anyway.

Eden 9 was good. It kind of sagged for a bit, but it's really picking up now. Now all we need is a perfectly done conclusion.
