I am preparing myself. Whenever Key inputs some supernatural stuff, things are going to get serious. I remember watching Air and Kanon, if someone transforms into an animal I am going to freak out man.
There are 9 episodes left into the season which is quite enough for them to explain things (I hope) and go though Rin's arc. The third season was already announced, hopefully they don't want until then to explain. It took me a while to figure out Clannad After Story's ending.

You're crazy, how can you not like Cowboy Bebop :O or Samurai Champloo AND Macross Plus, that stuff was pure gold and it had some of the most memorable soundtracks I've heard. I remember being surprised he directed Samurai but then I remember the soundtrack and it made perfect sense, that guy has a talent for getting the music just perfect to go with his stories. All the shows he had anything to do with had amazing soundtracks and were very good in their own right, except for maybe Eureka Seven (I didn't see a point to that show at all <.<). Really looking forward to his new show Space Dandy, looks funky ^^ and I'm sure the music will again be superb. Didn't watch Macross Plus. Didn't like Cowboy Bebop. Didn't like Samurai Champloo aside from Nujabes (also just because an anime has a good OST doesn't automatically make it good. I like certain sountracks but hated the anime. Is that a problem?). Or Mitchiko to Hatchin. Gave up on Sakamichi no Apollon halfway through. I mean I don't understand why everyone has to like those works simply because they're "cool" or whatever other reasons have for liking them and why someone who finds them boring/overrated is "crazy." Keep in mind you are talking to the guy who decided to not watch MJP because he didn't like Valvrave, and dismissed an anime he has never even watched as "kiddie" because it offends his mature 27-year-old sensibilities. You should stop posting if you're going to spout your stupidity all over this thread, I said I didn't like it because it denigrates what I consider to be a GOOD gundam, what gundam is supposed to be. Since when it's gundam fucking pokemon? Stupidest thing they've done with the franchise after Age. If you like your plastic pokemon crap good for you, that doesn't mean I have to like it. I grew up with a different gundam, not this.

Do you really miss your "adults are bad, why do you want to kill each other so badly!?" and "muh zeon ideals" exchanges that badly?
Im getting through Destiny right now, and since I + Show Spoiler +dislike Shinn somewhat I can't help but laugh at the fact that anyone that he kills doesn't stay dead, despite how retarded it is.

I mean I don't understand why everyone has to like those works simply because they're "cool" or whatever other reasons have for liking them and why someone who finds them boring/overrated is "crazy." I never said anything about liking anything because it's cool. I grew up with Cowboy, I remember coming home from school just in time to watch it on tv, it was watching this show that I learned to like Jazz music. I loved the story lines, I loved the characters, it was a really well constructed show and the music just elevated it and made it almost perfect imo. I can gush about it Toradora rant style but I won't, it was just a really good show and years later I still rewatch the show and love it.
Samurai Champloo wasn't as good imo, the story wasn't as expansive or well constructed but it was a really good effort. The fighting was fun, the characters were fun without them being brainless or dumb a la bleach/naruto, and again the amazing soundtrack just made the whole thing stand out, without that soundtrack I doubt the show would be as good. It gave the show its atmosphere, it's theme, I wouldn't be surprised if they tailored the show around the music.
Macross Pluss was my first macross and my favourite, I watched it not long ago and found myself surprised at how amazing it still looks today for a show that was made in 1994. I can't imagine how well it must have looked at that time. And yet again was accentuated by a wonderful soundtrack and great characters, story was simple but it didn't need to be complicated and the action was just wonderful to watch with those graphics.
Nah you're not crazy just joking about that, but I do think they are amazing shows that deserve credit for actually being good and not just something people HAVE to like for "cool" factor or whatever you think people like it for. I think this guy produces some amazing shows, besides I always have a sweet spot for shows with amazing soundtracks like these and beck and nodame cantabile.

A lot of the shows I grew up with were made with this intention, Transformers, Evangelion, Saint Seiya (I even owned some from the first show when I was a kid), Gundam, Macross, but devolve into literally being toys for kids IN the show as well? I'm sorry but I can't just get over how stupid that sounds, I always hated the yugioh's of the world and digimon whatever crap, their stories were just so unimportant they weren't worth watching.

Keep in mind you are talking to the guy who decided to not watch MJP because he didn't like Valvrave, and dismissed an anime he has never even watched as "kiddie" because it offends his mature 27-year-old sensibilities. If you grew up with a gundam anime that didn't have a strong intention of selling gunpla, you came from a different past than mine. Gundam isn't some sacred concept, it has been used as a medium to cover other stories. Parodies have been made based on it. There were even shit like SD romance of the three kingdoms with gundam. Even if you have problems with all of those, it doesn't change how the show is about gunpla, something with its own culture that might as well as be completely separated from gundams.
If you have a problem with plot, that's fine. That thing wasn't about to give you that. But what you are taking an issue with is for gunpla to be gunpla rather than gundam, which is completely silly.

Macross frontière is the only macross i've watched si far. Visual and Sound were outstanding imo:-)
Iona is best ship. 400 and 402 look similar, but we dont know much about them. The other mental model looked too bitchy.

It has nothing to do with tastes, it has everything to do with you apparently unable to comprehend the difference between plastic models and fictional objects.
You can hate the show for all I like, but please learn to make the distinction between the two things. The kids aren't fighting with gundams, but plastic models of gundams. It might be news to you, but those have a wide following of a pretty diverse age group in Japan. However childish you find that, it has nothing to do with gundams. Don't bring up bullshit like how Gundams are supposed to be something more, because that has nothing to do with the matter to begin with. It is a show about the hobbyists for the hobbyists.

What is this argument about?
Gundam models?
Those things are great! I built one!

Yeah I just looked it up. It says its going to be bundled with the DVD releases. I got confused because Wikipedia has it like a series schedule. Saying it would be broadcasted as OVAs from Jan 29 to July 30

Those things are great! I built one! It is about how Gundam plastic models are apparently not supposed to exist being the childish depiction of gundams that they are.

What third season, you mean Ex? That's just going to be bd bonus stuff afaik. Yeah I just looked it up. It says its going to be bundled with the DVD releases. I got confused because Wikipedia has it like a series schedule. They are just putting the Ex scenarios in anime form I believe.

How can there be anything wrong with that show with Kanno and Watanabe teaming up again? AMAZING things and rainbows come out of those 2 working together , the music was amazing (Still listen to the OST regularly, how could I not, jazz soundtrack, Cowboy much?), the animation was beautiful, the story was pretty nice for this type of show (no real complaints except I DIDN'T GET TO SEE MORE OF IT) I don't really like any of Watanabe's anime. If you grew up with a gundam anime that didn't have a strong intention of selling gunpla, you came from a different past than mine.
