I've watched the older ones, mostly the original gundam and loved it but I couldn't bring myself to watch some of the ones that came after it mostly because I felt they were less serious or rather they paled in comparison to the original one. I might try a mech anime once I have more time but for now, Toradora and the other 3 I'm watching are keeping me busy lol | ||

It's simple, if I don't hear a recommendation from a friend and I watched a similar show and it sucked, I rather skip a show in the same genre that same season. I read the previews on animenewsnetwork and neither of those shows were recommended by them so SKIP. | ||

ANN useful for random news, that's about it. Don't count on them for anything else. | ||

I have midterms coming up so I have to study during the day and watch it till 3-4 at night otherwise if this was summer, I would've watched it all in one go (or two). For reference, I watched all of db+dbz in a month time(also most dbz episodes x2) XD edit: as for liking it more, honestly, if what we talked about and what I predicted is true 100%(or what I had in mind), then I might be a bit pissed how it ended XD | ||

I don't get much out of the actual mech portion of it anymore. I kinda enjoyed full metal panic and I like IS (that's considered mecha right?) But not for the battles or the equipment. I prolly will give the genre a reboot try soon though so when I do I suppose I will be asking here lol. I might just watch valvre just so I can keep up with the constant arguments/discussions about it tho lol. | ||

Having said that, I haven't watched a mech anime since the original gundam. I think last time was 3 years ago or something but I was just rewatching gundam wing since I loved how well the characters were done and the side relationships were good too. I never expected it to go in the direction of something like Toradora so I didn't care much about that side lol. | ||

For the first 2 hours while it's early I'm like "Omg I have to see what happens next" then it turns 1 and I'm like "Okay last one for sure... then another... okay this is seriously the last one" 3am comes and I'm still up T_T. GT is a disgrace lol, I watched a few episodes 100 years when it came out and I hated it :/. Logh is really one of the best animes I've ever watched, it's totally worth it but the series is like 110 episodes + all the ovas and stuff it's a good 150. Has really big lore, it's totally worth it to get into it. | ||
