So there's that. It's not about having "mature" stuff, if I wanted "mature" content I wouldn't watch 99% of animes. Just don't see the fun in watching a bunch of little kids playing pokemon with them. I mentioned Unicorn in a previous post, so I'm watching that. >All vampires are twilight Can you please stop being this awful? You're like actively being awful. I suppose Hellsing Ultimate is twilight too guys. Its about Vampires! Valvrave is excellent, its basically a gundam AU anyways. Especially if you're all MAH MATURITY
Seems like you stopped reading at Twilight, stop being a 4chan troll, we're not in /b/ or /a/. I never said anything about Hellsing, so I should just ask you to make statements for me from now on since you have no problem doing so.

Also, "Gurren Lagann is no more," that's what klk is for? Gurren Lagann is only average in retrospect anyways I think Gurren Lagann is good for people who aren't in to mecha and don't watch shows to see cooler mecha. Which is probably why I thought it was really good. Pretty much exactly what Gurren Lagann is good at. Its a great entry level show. Like, there's nothing wrong with Gurren Lagann, its solid. Good intro to Mecha, especially since its basically built wholesale out of the super robot shows.
This doesn't register to me. A story is a story, and is there something unique to Mecha that makes Gurren Lagann "average Mecha" as opposed to being an "average story?" o_O

But why? What makes Mecha uniquely special that among Mecha anime it's average but in the grand scheme of anime it's....what? Better? Worse?
Is it the robot design? The sci-fi? The....iono.

It's mostly the plot/character development compared to something top tier like Turn A or Gunbuster.

You know, Valvave and "Capricorn" share a lot of things, maybe he shouldn't give that a chance either.
