You could try out some of his other anime, if you want his style. He is particularly famous for Macross. If you want something with similar music, the music was done by Yoko Kanno, who is incredibly good at what she does. If you are looking for "fantasy mecha", there are less choices. Break Blade, Dunbine, and Magic Knight Rayearth are the main ones that come to mind when I think "fantasy mecha", aside from Escaflowne. Break Blade is good, but I haven't seen the other two. Dunbine is supposed to be real good though, its directed by the guy who created Mobile Suit Gundam. | ||

Also, have I ever said that I liked Kami nori? I really like Kami nori. Every episode is better and better. Still sad about not getting go, noodles and kouhai and still sad about no further plans to animate it. The OP (which is excellent, brings tear to my slav eye) is selling really well. Oh well. | ||

Kaal edited for them, and some people look to be working through it. The quality of the scenarios vary a bit and it is also game 1 of 3. Still, it was quite a fun read when it first came out, nfc what they'll do about that anime adaptation though. Doubt they can animate the entire series, but just doing individual arcs will be kinda zzz | ||

The only real copy of anime I have is this k-on dvd disk. And its subbed. But I think that was only because they also did dub for it too. Some series Im interested in purchasing were stuff like Chihayafuru, Rinne no Lagrange, Amagami SS, Tonari Kaibutsu. If anyone out there bought any of these, please let me know if it came subbed. Any online description is not clear on these. | ||
