well call me what you want but i sincerely enjoy the show xD well animated slice of life in a good setting, likable characters, even if no twists happen i can see me watch it until the end and rate it highly. also look at Shinichirō Watanabe, he directed cowboy bebop, samurai champloo AND sakamichi no apollon, which would be the odd one out, just saying sometimes these people venture on new pathes. | ||

Then again I got dragged into watching the last Harry Potter movie despite not reading any books and only watched the first/second movies sooooooooo. And I liked 3rd the least out of the 3 series thus far. For me its been 2>1>3. Really interested how they end it in their typical Evangelion endings. | ||

I dunno man, he makes it sound like that was the only one he watched. "I've watched the Evangelion movie (can not redo)." If that is the case, then he might want to check out the two prequel movies... But, the third one is pretty weird and distant from the other two, he could probably get away with never seeing the first two! Instead of watching the rebuilds, I would actually recommend just watching the original series and follow it up with End of Eva. Anyway, I'd agree that the third is the weakest link. It did not fit very well with the other two and didn't have the Eva feel. Characters didn't make much sense and time jump = bad. I'd have to rank the three 1, 2, 3 (from best to worst). It's just going downhill imo! I wouldn't mind the "meh" 3rd movie if I didn't have to wait another 2 years for the 4th one. >__________________> | ||

+ Show Spoiler + The whole Rei plot was pretty much revealed to Shinji (and viewers) in about 5 minutes by Kozo (a minor character so far...) which really turned me off. Oh well. It's no masterpiece, but at least the animation is amazing! | ||
