I really enjoyed Tatami Galaxy. I've heard mixed things about Chihayafuru and I've been on the fence about checking it out, but now that I know Madhouse is behind it I'll give it a shot.

I was skeptical, but I did watch two episodes. Don't know if I'll keep watching, though. It's not a bad show or anything and there are some parts about it that are interesting, just not really my kind of show I guess.

I got quite far actually. Episode twelve before the boredom set in. I think the high that I experienced just died after the childhood arc ended because everything was just kind of meh afterwards, which is a shame since the anime did a decent job making a card game seem so entertaining without the use of rapidly spinning disks, holographic monsters, or hilarious special effects.

Never saw it, but frankly because of my inherent dislike of shows that feature shounen/superpowers, I can't say that I'd want to watch it anyway.

I urge you to reconsider. It's not your standard shonen, it's THE best shonen. It's executed so well that I wouldn't even call it shonen anymore, despite its heavy shonen qualities. I can't think of any type of person who would dislike it.

I'm not particularly convinced by that pitch. Sounds like something where I'd just read the manga instead. Besides I have a load of other more interesting titles to sift through anyway. Maybe I'll put it off indefinitely into the future.

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai - I usually don't like segmented stuff and it did feel quite segmented. Had to "force" me through the first 3 or 4 episodes but once I did that I really liked it a lot. It's actually the only anime that made me read the manga so far if you ignore the famous ones.
Naruto SD - Yeah I usually want some kind of story which it was completly devoid of but I kept comming back and saw every single episode. It was the kind of funny I like, just missing some kind of main thread to be considered awesome for me I guess. Oh and it does have to look somewhat "normal" for me. Idk I like my anime weird but weird artworks really ruin it for me. Hassy told me to try Oreshura last season and it was decent / good but the design was borderline atrocious for me. That really does ruin anime for me  I'm going to try some randomly (anything that is considered comedy without being slice of life I guess?) but if someone has a tip what I might like that would be much appreciated. Help would be much appreciated. I only have 20hours of internet left right now so I'm trying to find as much as possible if it's slightly fitting and filter out later lol. Stuff that I watched that isn't in the list above should be:+ Show Spoiler [click me!] + Sword art, IS, oreshura, Seitokai no Ichizon, R-15 (2 episodes and dropped so no need to DL that) and I just started searching for Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai as someone suggested when I last posted. The last one was on my "when I got time" list so far but as I need stuff right now it has been upgraded to "must see!" :p
So those are the ones I don't need anymore.
Edit: Oh I also watched that Nyaruko-san thingie as someone suggested. Edit2: Oh and I was told to start watching fairy tail as soon as possible because I apparently should like that. So that one's out of the question as well because I already have it on my list.

Maybe in terms of manga. OP "1 chapter per episode" anime can't compare in any way whatsoever to the brilliance that is the HxH anime. I will defend this until I die.

Anyone know some good animes that are dubbed? I haven't seen a huge amount of anime but I can tell so far I vastly prefer dubbed over subbed because I'm a really slow reader. I've been trying to find some more good dubbed animes but it appears most don't have a dub.
