I'm having trouble finding Case Irvine, but at the same time I'm not that motivated because it's not related to the main story and Finder is supposed to be set in an alternate universe. + Show Spoiler +Phantom Arc does leave the opportunity for a continuation of Chirico's story and it is kind of hilarious that he defeats Wiseman the same way twice. Wiseman just put your brain tubes higher up or lock them up so somebody can't so easily unscrew em lol. Alone Again was disappointing from a story perspective, while it did explain some things about Phantom Arc like why they were not surprised Chirico was unfrozen it ultimately serves to just kill of the only interesting character the side stories introduced. Oh and yeah Steins Gate is good and is one my favorites now. Trailer for film has been out for a while. I like that the dub is great mainly the English VA of Okabe is better, although I had to watch the last half with subs. Even though it makes more sense for the characters to speak Japanese Funimation did a great job translating scenes including changing the black button guy scene from "I speak Japanese so you don't need to speak broken English" to "I don't speak jive" as Okabe tries to speak street instead of English. + Show Spoiler + I still have a ton of small questions about the show, but at least I didn't feel lost. I was really scared I would be since it was the same guys who made Chaos Head. I wouldn't worry too much about Case Irvine or Finder. Case Irvine is worth it only for the mecha action, and Finder is an abomination that shouldn't even be called VOTOMs.

Finished Inganock, I liked it quite a bit. The setting/atmosphere especially so. Moving on to Sharnoth.

Ok so i've seen lain, but i have yet to watch GITS, technolyze or ergo proxy. I will watch all 3, but probably GITS second.
Which one of ergo/technolyze should i watch first?
Other than that, just watching kotoura san (meh...) and gj bu (not as gud as k-on, i hate that tsun loli :<)

I think Texhnolyze is a better watch than EP. I didn't like EP that much.

Early Makoto Shinkai up to Hoshi no Koe is what I personally would call old-ish (more than 10 year old). Other than that, 5cm per second is gud indeed ;D

Finished Holyland!
Don't know why, but I got so emotionally invested in the manga that I'm almost crying from the ending. Hah, might be because it's so late right now and I'm sleep deprived.
Damn... One of the best mangas that I have ever read, no doubt. Thanks to everyone who recommended it to me, would never have found it otherwise.
I was originally gonna read Berserk after Holyland but I feel that I need some lighter reading, maybe Noblesse.
EDIT: Why was Holyland tagged with Yaoi on Batoto? Got real confused and thought Yuu would suddenly change his love-interest for Mazaki instead. Haha

Ergo Proxy is inferior to Texhnolyze in every way imo. Ergo Proxy is still really awesome but Texh is my #2 fave anime so I guess I have to rec that first. They have a very similar mood, even if the storytelling is quite a bit different. Problem is you might actually like it so much that it lowers your enjoyment of the other two. So hard to decide!

I couldn't get into EP. Not sure what's up with all the buzz surrounding it.

She's lesbian.
Finished 2nd GIG.
+ Show Spoiler +That was pretty good. I liked it better than Stand Alone Complex too. Had to pay more attention than the first season because they pulled out a lot more jargon out of their ass this time, but the political maneuvering and foreshadowing, not to mention the entire conflict surrounding amnesty for refugees troubled by war, was much better developed. I could see someone arguing that Stand Alone Complex was better thematically for presenting an SAC as a stylistic choice and finally coalescing the entire conflict in the last few episodes, but to me that detracted from its storytelling.
Also, the last Tachikoma scene was pretty cool.
The only question now is do I watch SSS.

Just finished watching Sailor Moon S, and the dub music has more better tracks IMO. It's more fun, lively, and exciting in general. I got interested with the original music at first (since it's was a nice change of pace), then got bored (a lot of scenes weren't as lively and some of the music weren't as exciting), then sort of got used to it (I just paid attention to the story).
In the scenes that matter (not filler or padding or villains talking about their next generic MotD #123 plan (which happens nearly every episode)), the original music (or lack of) usually fits nicely and I am fine with it but otherwise I definitely prefer dub music (the villain music is really epic).
So overall (after having a chance of listening to the original music for 40+ episodes), I prefer most of the dub music (it made a lot of the episodes more lively)... well except the Sailor Uranus/Neptune/Pluto theme which is epic and the transformation and attack music (which is up to preference).
The funny thing is the dub music is filled with like 10 different instrumental versions of the Japanese opening theme music (Moonlight Densetsu), so they're sort of using the original music but in their own way. Here's a scene with the "cheery" version and here's a bit of the sad version.
Speaking of that, I randomly read some discussions on Faulconer on DBZ (dub music rocks) and I can't believe there are so many anti-fans/haters on his/their music (there's actually 4 composers for the music, not just Bruce). Faulconer music made the padding (taking 10 whole minutes just to transform... okay SSJ3 only took "only" 6 minutes but still, there was a ton of padding in the series) actually bearable to watch. If not for the music accompanying the padding (some fight scenes included), I'd rather spend my time more wisely like by playing StarCraft or something instead.
Here's Gohan goes super saiyan 2 (epic Faulconer music), the music really fit the scenes and really made you think "things are about to get real".
Okay back to Sailor Moon and what I found out about SuperS - + Show Spoiler + I can't believe Uranus/Neptune/Pluto/Saturn do not appear in SuperS (I haven't watched much yet, only a few episodes; so I don't know them not being there is okay or bad yet).
Edit - I know they return somewhere in Stars, and (of course) after being missing for an entire season, that means their return is more awesome (I hope).
Finally one thing I liked about Sailor Moon S + Show Spoiler + The scene with Hotaru crying for her dead goldfish was nice. I like that choice of pet. Goldfish as pets are actually serious business, most Goldfish can live over 10-15+ years if they are cared for correctly (yep, that's right, most Goldfish can potentially outlive dogs and cats... take that!! >.>) . But yeah, I liked the goldfish scene.

Solid State Society was good, IMO. Go for it. The two seasons were better though.

Watched first episode of Steins Gate. That glowy animation makes the show feel like wtf?, as in weird. Plus it's late so my eyes were closing on their own.

Speaking of S;G, I tried to make a friend watch it but he dropped it really early for a stupid reason. Now we made a deal that if I watch True Tears, he'll watch any series I say. I don't care if True Tears is absolutely horrible, making him watch S;G is my top priority, mwahaha.

I enjoyed True Tears a lot. I came across it when I was looking for the romance type of anime back in the day. But just like the start of S;G it moves pretty slow. So I guess its a fair trade.
I also made a bet with my friend that I would watch Code Geass (both seasons) if he would watch Amagami SS. We both never came through with that deal lol.

I think ill keep my part of the bargain because I really do want him to watch S;G, lol.

Actually quite a lot people have problem finishing S;G
The first half is pretty slow, and it's not much a draw for people looking for either action / adventure or moe / service. It's much better sell to western crowd than traditional Asian viewer.

In my opinion it's a decent watch if you like cyberpunk.
