The japan arc felt pretty awkward because of the horrible english, but well, can't blame em for that too much. Guess my favorite not main char is Shenhua, so adorable.Short after Shenhua comes Bao's Bar, lol! + Show Spoiler [Dat Maid... :D] +

And I did watch the first couple episodes of LB, but it's not giving me the same impression Clannad did. Little Busters isn't KyoAni

Just moe and a bit comedy isnt keeping me watching =( Maybe I missed some HUGE story in LB and fail to realize the depth of LB?! Dunno...

On an unrelated note, I think I'll read Rewrite as it seems to finally be getting fully translated in around 2 weeks. I have no idea at all what to expect, hopefully it's worth the trouble. Haven't seen LB myself but when an anime seems decently rated but feels really boring, I generally look at the episode ratings on anidb to see how long it might be worth enduring. No well-rated episodes for LB though and it seems like the anime is actually really bad, I guess if you're interested you should just check the visual novel out: http://vndb.org/v5

Unfortunately no, the individual routes don't offer much, you are better off reading it then coming to watch anime knowing what to expect with something that's hell to storyboard. Horizon seems more refined and geared toward popularity while Oware is more expressive and sharp. I think it is just that he has figured out how he can get more pages in while still keeping the same level as AHEAD, might as well as fill extra pages with service. That or he realized that people actually loved it when Sayama or sf goes out of hand with their rants and antics and pressed on it. It isn't so much that Horizon characters aren't as sharp, they just have a lot more slapstick comedy between those moments.

So I guess it's more than 2 weeks :/ Maybe I'll read Shikkoku no Sharnoth first

I didn't really mind it up until mid-400s after which it became painfully obvious. Also I didn't feel this way about Bleach which I also marathoned. No, I'm serious. One Piece has had anywhere from a ratio of like 1 chapter per episode, to 2 chapters per episode, since episode 1. Every single arc has averaged about 1.5~ chapters per epsiode. You just think the pacing slowed down, but it hasn't. It has been pretty constant throughout.

So I guess it's more than 2 weeks :/ Maybe I'll read Shikkoku no Sharnoth first I might try to read the translated versions of Moon route just to see if it manages to convey the atmosphere that the original had. It was probably the prettiest bits of writing I've seen out of Tanaka Romeo. Steampunk series is weird, I am a big fan of the series overall but I don't think I'd really recommend it to a lot of people. Also, Inganock was better. Good writing can be a bitch to put in animated form.

Anime adaptions of VNs have never been good. When the "best" VN adaptions are like FSN, thats saying something lol

Anywho, whatever happened to Ferrose? I haven't seen him in a long time. Did he burn his hand while flipping burgers?

First half of the Clannad anime is really shit imo in comparison, but it still carries the same mood as the parts not cut out. But that is just cos I like the VN very much, I guess. Better than FSN still. After Story is really good though, even if VN still is better. But it's still a good adaptation. S;G is a great adaptation too, only difference is that Kurisu sucks in the anime. Amagami is good too, though that isn't super hard cos it's just a bloody dating sim. Saying FSN anime is still one of the best adaptations is fucking dumb and really calls for a !kupons. Edited because Sent is a bloody bulldog who cannot into objective.

Please learn to read before you make stuff up. And the Clannad Anime sucked, the FSN anime is better, despite still being meh.
