About Psycho Pass:

I think there were a few things that worked together here. I almost felt like yelling at her to drop the Dominator, steady the rifle with both her hands and blow Makishima's head off. But anyway:
-real guns seem to be pretty rare. She holds the rifle, which is pretty long and will produce more than a little recoil, in one hand. She doesn't know how to handle it (she fires off a second shot before it has recovered from the recoil).
-he had her friend hostage, I think this affects her more than potentially putting Kogami in danger... a civilian, and her friend.
-as has been mentioned, Makishima's clear psycho pass. Two things here, firstly I think it scares her that someone so "evil" can have an entirely clear psycho pass, and secondly I think the thought of going against the system isn't an easy one for her.

+ Show Spoiler + this is just a guess, but I think his psycho pass is perfectly clear because he's a psychopath. Psychopaths have no empathy, lack the ability to sympathize with others. If he doesn't view what he is doing as wrong, or evil, this might "trick" the sibyl system

+ Show Spoiler + I actually yelled throughout that entire sequence for her to actually shoot makishima. my sister and I were just like "NOOOOOOOO, DROP THE FUCKING DOMINATOR AND SHOOT THE DAMN RIFLE YOU FUCKTARD" the whole time. I also like to yell at Gino for being an idiot 90% of the time, and I like to yell at the police for missing the obvious criminal.
Now that I think about it, I like yelling at this anime a lot.

+ Show Spoiler +Yeah, this is essentially what he's telling Akane. It also plays into the title of the anime: サイコパス. パス is both "pass" and "path" so the name of the show could just as easily be read as "Psychopath."

It has come to my attention that Nana Mizuki will be voicing Anshin'in-san. On one hand it's like, easily the best character Nana will have ever voiced but on the other hand, I honestly can't see her voice doing the greatness of Anshin'in justice. Either way, guess I have to watch the last episode for her. Also Kumagawa. Surely it can't be bad if it has both of these characters?...

It looks like that auto update only works with locally watched videos, so I'll have to keep doing it manually anyway 
Sort function is cool though (shame MAL doesn't have that functionality by default ).
