So far it just seems like "oh well we just wanted something to start the story for a plot, but I hope this won't come back again in the future and we can just ignore it as long as azusa is saved from being raped by some horribly cliche bad guy?" My thoughts exactly on SAO... | ||

The LN isn't that good either... I dropped it after vol 5 or 6 while enjoy AW a tons more. Nothing cut out more stuff than Horizon, and it's still a far superior show than SAO in every way. | ||

SAO is just a ripoff of .hack series(which is much better). SAO uses the same theme added with a lot of harem and romance. It is pretty damn cheesy that literally almost every girl that Kirito meet just fall in love with him. Cliche harem much? That's why the Japanese love it. SAO was not SAO after Vol 2 of the LN. The premise of the story changed after they left SAO. That killed it for me. I never understood why SAO is popular. I guess it's because they have cute characters. | ||
