Bit of both, though honestly Nadeko got shafted a fair bit in the way her character was used. Mental image is something like MORE DEBAN w/ her and Karen.

I actually just noticed Canon-Rep recently picked up Otorimonogatari.
Neko Black aka Tsukihi episode(s)!!! Tsukihi really stole the spotlight imo.

Never thought about a list for Bake/Nise, but I guess if I had to choose, Shinobu and Hachikuji would be up there as my favorites, and then everyone else would just fill in the space randomly behind them.
