edit: watched the first episode + Show Spoiler + It has a futuristic setting reminiscent of GitS and really pretty looking characters and visual style. Watching the episode I thought "Hey this is pretty good". Then came the part where they dispatch the first criminal. It was...awesomely done. Gonna keep watching this for sure. | ||

Umm.......the episodes are kind of standalone (hahaha). + Show Spoiler + The incident that you're referring to is explained some time around the middle. It's kind of one of those anime that starts out really convoluted and kind of works its way towards explaining said convoluted events towards the latter part of the show. For some this works fine because they like the action, for others it makes it a bit of a pain and really confusing. | ||

Think I expected a little more from the first episode due to all the hype but it looks promising. Like, if it wasn't for psycho-pass, that dude would've quite likely never done any harm. But the psycho-pass pushed him to it. And then the thing with the victim... well, hopefully something shakes up the system before the end of the series. I'm a bit curious about the ones who think the first ep was awful though, could you motivate? I mean yeah there were some cliches etc but it wasn't too bad imo. | ||

Uhh....main character was pretty annoying. I think my impression of the episode was kind of like my impression that new K anime thing. It just tried unnecessarily hard to try to make itself seem legit, when it just came off as really really overdramaticized.
