Pretty good episode, lots of development everywhere, and Im starting to grow on Chisato. But is there any reason why that one dude keeps his eyes closed? At first I thought it was just part of his condescending attitude, but I dont think thats the case anymore. Does it have something to do with how only Oojima sees it, just like how he sees the masked guy or the dude with the fan on his head? Im actually hoping for a translated VN, I wanna play this.

The Clannad VN is that old they haven't even hinted at picking any if the more recent Key projects. Jun maeda independent of key or otherwise is of course as Uta mentioned a different story + Show Spoiler + and the dinosaur comment was sarcasm most people know what I'm talking abt I believe

I was expecting Reki's wings to fall off and for her to go to the Renmei to live out the rest of her life, while Rakka is in distress and wants to help her 'regain' her wings somehow. That being said, I really, really, really enjoyed the ending and I think the writers finished it off in the best way possible. In fact, up until the last episode, everything felt slow and I guess pointless? I had heard great things about the anime but watching it didn't really stir me. Did anyone else have the same experience watching this show, where they didn't particularly enjoy it till the end? I feel like I can't reiterate enough how big of a difference the end made for me. It made the whole show have some sort of purpose and made it infinitely more interesting. It was TOTALLY worth watching the whole thing just for the ending. It's actually funny how quickly my opinion of the show changed. Really well done. But now I want to see who comes out of those twin cocoons. Sequel please! >.< Seriously though, it'd be so nice if we got to see Rakka take her day of flight and see what is outside the walls. I would have thought that it would tie in with modern human culture. For example, maybe outside the walls is the modern human world and the angels that we know are actually the Haibane coming through on their day of flight. After that, it would be cool to see how they interact with our world. I hope that the writers decide they want to continue it. So short, but so good. Too short Q_Q It's one of my top 5 all time... I would be sooooooooooo against a sequel though (how did that work out for Last Exile)

Which means we can rewatch it again. All day.

Hahaha. Ruka forced to go into the countryside. I can sympathise. First time I went into the countryside I felt so empty and bored. :< Haruharu in flight steward style clothing.... I like! Although she does look better in casual-wear like a hoodie imo.

+ Show Spoiler + Lol I like how Ruka just says she coughs up blood with a straight face. It was definitely an amusing chapter to me for some reason. Idk why hamster is there though.

The last show i saw that I really enjoyed was Yakitate Japan, and im looking for something in the same vein. Of the shounens I've seen I really enjoyed OP, Naruto, GTO, Tengen Toppa. Those are the ones i remember off the top of my head. I dont really like artsy or so called advanced animes. Any recommendations? (Just to clarify: I enjoy the "Boy sets out to conquer world, picks up a great friends along the way and have funny adventures", not some (supposedly) intelligent overarching thing. For instance I hated Death Note. Its a personal preference, but I really dont like those kind of shows)

Power of friendship OP ![]() Fairy Tail is okay, but if you want to go the "100+ episode anime" route, One Piece is far better. Try out Gaiking: Legend of Daiku Maryu. If you enjoyed TTGL and are a fan of shounen shows, it should be right up your alley. Its like 40 episodes too, so its not mammoth like One Piece or Fairy Tail.

Probably should watch it again. 5 cm/s is by far the most beautiful anime Ive ever seen. Other than that, its a pretty good movie. I had to rewatch because I was left kinda clueless after I first finished it.
