I guess its about time I open my Morishima Nendoroid box. Been keeping it in a unopened condition since I got it. Im just gonna take out the plastic wrapping and put the figure back in the box though lol. I like them better when theyre boxed as display.

Those are the ones i remember off the top of my head. I dont really like artsy or so called advanced animes.
Any recommendations? (Just to clarify: I enjoy the "Boy sets out to conquer world, picks up a great friends along the way and have funny adventures", not some (supposedly) intelligent overarching thing. For instance I hated Death Note. Its a personal preference, but I really dont like those kind of shows) Fairy Tail sounds perfect for you. Its easily my most favorite anime. Power of friendship OP Fairy Tail is okay, but if you want to go the "100+ episode anime" route, One Piece is far better. Try out Gaiking: Legend of Daiku Maryu. If you enjoyed TTGL and are a fan of shounen shows, it should be right up your alley. Its like 40 episodes too, so its not mammoth like One Piece or Fairy Tail. This man is correct. One Piece is so good omg. Some people may get put off by the fact it's like 500+ eps... and it may take some people 100-200+ eps for them to get into it - but once you do, it can easily be classified one of the best animes. In my opinion anyway! I agree. One Piece is very good and worth the 500 eps. I am about 300 or so in and still enjoy it
The only gripe I have with One Piece is all the original material... Even though it's long it's not as much a ritual watching as Detective Conan (for 13 years), or even Gintama to a certain degree (kinda worn out after 200+).

The fillers in anime. Personally I'd like them to take 2 season breaks than stick with those, but they make money doing what they do.
|
Well, filler is filler I guess, but in One Piece filler can be good from time to time, see G8 or Ice Hunters, or the expanded manga-cover arc episodes.
|
I was OK with G8, but I'd rather not have them as a whole. It's not even that they are bad, just different. I guess if someone doesn't follow manga it was perfectly fine.

Well how much time do you have for ritual watching anyway. I've dropped pretty much everything cept OP. And I skip the fillers even if they do turn out to be good.

I read the manga too, but since I already read the manga, its not like I need everything animated right away to know what happens in the story. I read the manga to see what happens. So at this point, anime filler is just like supplementary material, for me.

I'm in a "long term long distance" thing where I can't even go out. So... lots.
1hr for anime / 30 min for manga per day pretty much. All LN (and forum) are during work / gym. Now that I don't play any game (and when I do have dual monitor with a TV tuner works surprisingly well) that leaves me enough time for all the sports (including sc2) and tv.

Well finished Utena....Those last few episodes were the biggest mindfuck ive seen in a long time.
+ Show Spoiler +Its Hinted at pretty strongly that the whole place/area was all an illusion set up by that machine thingy. That would make sense for why Touga couldent leave and all the surreal shit going on. I dont get how Utena came into play tho? I dont understand where she from or if the prince and the witch thing really even happened. I am very confused -.-

Omg nozoki ana (if anyone reads this)
Shit going down
+ Show Spoiler + Almost got me with fakout NTR chapter... phew. Hope they get together already.

i love new seasons so much potential :3
|
+ Show Spoiler [Cross Channel] +So they are in some kind of special school for kids with problems. Some of the things seem to be a bit confusing though especially the chronology. One of the first scenes was the campout, and then some regular school life as second year highschool students. Then back to the campout? And Now I'm at the part where humanity has vanished...I think he might just be dreaming or something.
There was also nanako whose first appearance was followed by the MC waking up from a dream. But then she showed up later again in a not-dream mode I think.
But well we'll see if my questions will be answered. Or maybe our MC really is just insane and everything is just a dream lol. That would make for a crappy story.
