If anything, a very minor portion of discussion in this thread based around anime.

This thread has been about anime, manga, VNs, LNs, and Japanese video games for close to 2 years now, where have you been?lol Anyway this is a dumb argument, so I'm dropping it wiht this post. I don't mean to escalate this further. That really doesn't change anything. It's still called ADT, and a good portion of discussion is based around anime, current and old. You can't just say people need to preface things by specifying it's an anime when it should be assumed by default that it's an anime given the thread. Not everyone has read the whole thread or even portions of it before posting, so they may have no idea what it has evolved into. Wasn't really much of an argument but alright.
That's the way things work in the anime subculture, some things are typically thought of first. Like if you talk about Muvluv or FSn people assume it to be the VN, or if you talk about FSS or Denyuuden people assume it first to be a novel. It's called the ADT but it's more like the general Anime/Manga/LN/VN Otaku thread. That's the way it's been since it's inception, you really don't need to argue semantics. If you're new to the scene just specify or ask people to specify what they're talking about, eventually you'll just know.

Usually more of "why this anime adaptation sucks" and the LN/VN/Game was better in every way possible.

I know it's more of a general thread, I just didn't think it was right that Sent was trying to tell Maxie what to do, especially when Maxie's post was worded in such a way that made Sent's point moot to begin with. Looking back Sent may have been kidding, but it came off as really snobbish when I first read it. But yeah, no real point in saying much more on the topic.

The real question is why are people watching the shitty Umineko anime rather than reading the godly Umineko VN?

Shinsekai yori the adaptation feels 'forced'.

Might want to check out the manga if you liked the first episode. At least I'm doing that to get a headstart. o/
That's probably why I don't watch as much anime as before. I just read the material now.

Not sure if I want to watch Tonari no ZNFKaibutsu-kun since I've already read manga. And then I watch Zetsuen no Tempest despite reading it and knowing it's far worse than Tonari just cause Nana who isn't even main @_@ At least her character is Misaki-esque, but a lot less screen time.

The relationships are pretty adorable as seen in the last few stories but I can't see how the writer can go without being repetitive since they've done all the otaku stuff already. Introduce a densha otaku or something?

And overall, I'm pretty happy with how that's been handled. There's a lot of new characters, and though we have a pretty good idea of how they mesh at this point, there's still things which could be explored.
And it's not like Kio's going to run out of jokes anytime soon.

So ... To turn the discussion slightly into anime. ...
Which animes are you guys looking forward to the most that are starting in the next season(Around 4th of october ->)? I don't really have any others than Little Busters and also Robotics;Notes kind of. . .
