If it's like Clannad, it will be bad. Although, JC Staff would think that using the same storyboarding can just transfer over to LB! and be equally successful and then halfway through realize it doesn't actually work that way. At this point, it's just like: Refrain and maybe even Rin1/2 will be bad so I'll just hope for the little things like Rin's missions or Mask The Saitou.

Please don't say things like "Umineko is terrible" unless you have read it, or preface it with "I'm only talking about the anime". Its like talking about Tsukihime, except talking about the Tsukihime anime. Everyone knows the anime doesn't actually exist.

Just Episode 8 left. I finished Episode 7 over the weekend, so switching back over to LB to finish a route or two, before going back to Episode 8. Then will finish Refrain after that probably.

I liked the first episode of Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. It was pretty good. I read a few chapters of the manga and enjoyed those too so I think I'll keep watching this one.

Out of curisoty, are most people on ADT following the newer series? I see alot of spoiler tag, so I'm assuming these are mainly the animes being aired...
Or are there lot of people like me who are trying to catch up? The only actual animes I've watched or am watching : Gundam Unicorn, and recently Accel World.

Except Umineko is a visual novel, and is most commonly known as a visual novel. Thus, if someone starts talking about Umineko, I'm gonna think "visual novel". If people in this thread start talking about Tsukihime, or FSN, do you think they are going to be talking about the shitty anime adaptations?

I guess character development would be nice, but u cant really xpect somthin like that for a anime liek horizon. its liek expeting plot in ikkitousen, u just dont do that and try to enjoy the ride. I have only watched the anime for both Higurashi and umineko, but no, higurashi is not anything like Umineko IMO. Umineko was pretty terrible (liked it at the start but later on... yeah), but I really liked Higurashi. Also, I'm starting to get hyped for Little Busters. I know I shouldn't be, and that being hyped might make this a lot more painful than it could be... but I can't help it Please don't say things like "Umineko is terrible" unless you have read it, or preface it with "I'm only talking about the anime". Its like talking about Tsukihime, except talking about the Tsukihime anime. Everyone knows the anime doesn't actually exist. Given that this is the ANIME discussion thread you should be assuming everyone is talking about the anime unless otherwise stated, not the other way around. Also Ikkitousen was deep and full of PLOT. How dare anyone say otherwise! Except Umineko is a visual novel, and is most commonly known as a visual novel. Thus, if someone starts talking about Umineko, I'm gonna think "visual novel". I've seen enough hate from you guys on the FSN anime that I just assume by now any praise towards it is going to the VN lol. But had I NOT seen the past conversations, I'd be assuming you mean the anime.

That really doesn't change anything. It's still called ADT, and a good portion of discussion is based around anime, current and old. You can't just say people need to preface things by specifying it's an anime when it should be assumed by default that it's an anime given the thread. Not everyone has read the whole thread or even portions of it before posting, so they may have no idea what it has evolved into.
Wasn't really much of an argument but alright.
