I guess it could be taken as "if you haven't read novel you won't enjoy these", but what I meant was "if you enjoyed the novel you more likely than not would enjoy it, if not you might or might not but I wouldn't recommend them as best ones of the season." Okay, well, in that case you're just being too concise with your words. I know if I was looking for anime recs and saw "x anime if you enjoyed LN" I'd be a less inclined to try it. Keep in the mind the average person doesn't (and can't) read LNs which is why I said if you feel they aren't worth recommending, just don't say anything instead of throwing in some special LN clause. And if you don't like the wording of "not very good" then just use "not as good as the best ones of the season" since you just used it with me. Anyway, just try to be more clear as to what you mean when writing ![]()

If "x anime if you enjoyed LN" is meant to discourage a person from trying it, its the same as saying its not really that good. Well effectively anyway, but yeah prob not the best way to go about it, especially if a show happens to not be that bad. Then again people will prob disagree if that were the case.

Not quite. "x anime if you enjoyed LN" makes it sound like reading and enjoying the LN is a requirement before you can even attempt it. As if, there is something about it that requires having read the LN. "not that good" means it's not that good but you can still try it. No implied requirements. Fair enough although with the case in point no one would ever want to sincerely recommend either show so result achieved.

The first vol (1+2) is pretty light on history though, especially 2. Only history part relevant in first is Ieyasu + four kings IIRC. The real fun starts after.

Oh good, almost done the first Vol. Might try look for the actual book so I can buy it, my damn phone keeps dying in the middle of reading it zzz. I wonder if the anime adaption will go through all the vol's. There's a lot. :o

+ Show Spoiler + Arc ended really well, but I'm starting to get tired of "godmode Kagami" knowing everything and being able to do anything. The stories are good, but there's so little conflict, you know?
