Well again, VNs have actual writers. The majority of manga are done by illustrators, not writers. It's a pretty important thing to remember, as people who are good at drawing are not necessary good at coming up with stories and such :p

emergency question
i might be without net for a while, moving house
i have some time to download stuff (hours)
can anyone direct me to any compressed series, like low quality highly compressed anime series
eg i think you can get all of DBZ in a 1 gig nonstop movie file (iirc)
is there a special name for this

Do you have a video converter of your own? You could download your series however you normally do it, and then batch convert them with a random video converter found on google. Unfortunately I don't really know any sites that have series in highly compressed mp4 (minihq that kind of idea etc) by default :X
Freemake seems like a pretty legit one that doesn't appear to be sleazy. Maybe try that.

Novels and such in general is a superior form of story telling over anything. One of main reasons is because a writer can create Interior monologues and dialogue that would be pretty hard to do in And actual anime/ tv show. You see it sometimes like in Haruhi which I thought was well done especially in the movie

Ah right. Yeah I don't think there are many sites that specifically post mp4s (?). There was somebody whose anime was mostly in mp4 though, so you could ask him whether he downloaded it from somewhere already in mp4 or whether he converted.

Tari Tari is damn good. It's like the polar opposite of Yuri Yuri (not in how good it is, but the way the anime is).
Both are really good animes in my opinions because of the way they appeal to me!

Im not gonna go as far to say that Tari Tari is amazing. But I think its pretty decent. At the very least, it gives me my weekly moe-dose.
