4. Durarara!! Out of those, Durarara is definitively the best. Then again I don't think it's such a great show anyway so I'd say don't bother with the other 3 afterwards.
Edit@other discussion: Gunslinger Girl is amazing, but if you enjoyed Upotte all way through I don't think you'd be the kind of person to enjoy it really. Wierd...

The bad guy just appeared out of no where :S Saw the first three episodes of Rosario Vampire... eh is the entire serie like this? Its not really my type of thing... It seems too light hearted, not serious enough. The 'let's all get along' thing... (Which is one of my main issue with Omamori Himari : there's no bad guy and everything that is evil, we can just argue + discuss = let's be friends)
Rosario and Vampire had potential to be better, given that the whole monster high was a pretty interesting premise. Sadly any fight is a rofl-stomp by the main girl. It's best to just view it as a harem anime, then it seems better by compairson lol.
The bad guy appears in like the second last episode, simliar to drama starting in the second last episode of a harem and being resolved in the last episode. Second season adds more characters, but leaves out some interesting plot from the manga (which I read after and is much less formulated), and is pretty well the same as season 1 in terms of quality. Maybe a little higher since mizore is in all the episode rather than only half of them...
But yeah, the whole "lets all get along and be friends" never goes away, not even in the manga where things have gotten pretty serious (end of the world and such).
