It was great imo. In the other seasons, Nanoha always annoyed me a little but those ~10 years made her a lot better, lol. Still, I'm really a Fate fan.
The new characters were pretty good... not amazing but not bad in any way either. The villain was a bit too much "mad scientist" for my taste but it kinda tied in well with Fate's background, so it didn't bother me that much.
Last 6 episodes were really nice, though at times there were maybe a bit too many battles ongoing at the same time. First half wasn't as boring as some people say it is, once you get into it the training phase is pretty nice.
8/10 from me. Now, what the hell am I going to watch now? I have no clue. Blargh.

A while ago, me and a friend used LoGH as a setting for a zombie epidemic project in a 4th year math course on zombie diseases. If you have read the Madoka article on population dynamics, it is kind of similar, though focused on a completely different thing. Since there are LoGH fans in this thread, I thought that maybe someone could be interested. As a Reinhard fan I made sure that Heinessen would get zombified first pretty much all the time, even though my partner was a Wenli fan.

Noir is the first anime that make me conscious about OST. Before that I just focused on OP/ED/Inserts. Though Kaijura has some amazing works in those departments (Akatsuki no Kuruma, Koya Ruten, Aria) etc, it's more of a hit or miss.
It is my eternal shame to admit that the first Kajiura show I watched was Mai HiME. Of course I immediately got the soundtrack and sought other Kajiura shows like Madlax and .hack//sign.

The most distinctively kajiura ost for me is prob the one from Tsubasa Chronicle. That one just screams Kajiura nonstop. Hack Signs a close second.
My-HiME actually not bad, it's a yuri fest, which is always a plus. My-Otome on the other hand...

Tsubasa series is really good, but it kind of got a bad reputation because the Sakura connection.

Infinite Stratos to a degree, but that is kind of in a limbo
Tears to Tiara and Utawarerumono, both very good, GvE generally but not in the same style as DxD
Saw Hidan no Aria : found it interesting, yet lacking. The bad guy just appeared out of no where :S
Saw the first three episodes of Rosario Vampire... eh is the entire serie like this? Its not really my type of thing... It seems too light hearted, not serious enough. The 'let's all get along' thing... (Which is one of my main issue with Omamori Himari : there's no bad guy and everything that is evil, we can just argue + discuss = let's be friends)
