Finished watching Another + Show Spoiler +it seemed pretty good till the end, it got really wacky and psycho like around the end and it also had a plausible enoght ending for me Now let's wait for season 2 when Kouichi will marry Mei and when their son or daughter will face the same "calamity" while Mei and Kouchi prepare for it and save everyone again(except the countless victims that didn't have enoght screen time during the anime) Or or.... Kouchi is going to teach Mei how to cook, cause damn it would be funny as hell to slice onions with one eye or to see her eyepatch fall in the soup Now i don;t know why but this anime made me want to watch higurashi, hmmm

I can see why you'd feel like watching Higurashi, lol. Try Denpa Teki na Kanojo if you haven't seen it. Short but good.

On another note, starting G-Senjou no Maou now, any recommendations regarding routes and such? How do they work in G-Senjou? You'll like the beginning-middle of G-senjou. Its the ending I think ppl say is pretty bullshit and completely falls apart. I read it before I even knew about this thread because it wasrecommended by a friend and I saw alot of praise for it. It was pretty disappointing. It made me never want to read a VN again -.-. Its not as bad as ppl here make it out to be tho.

I recommend reading the main story to the end first, then going back for the other routes. P.S. Recommend Sharin no Kuni: Himawari no Shoujo. Made by same company, came before G Sen, consensus here is that it's better overall. Also has Wakamoto (aka ALL HAIL BRIIIITANNIAAAAA) @Sent: Loving the side stories, thanks for posting the translations <3 Akane, was one of my favs On a side note, I wonder how + Show Spoiler +the whole erasure thing works. From her Sadogashima memories, does she remember 20+ Fort class spontaneously moving out of their way for no reason and then imploding? + Show Spoiler +Pfft, Akane remembers it as her owning them herself. That self confidence boost Edit: VN:s worth playing through if you have watched their anime adaptions? Clannad/Afterstory, Kanon, Air, Steins;Gate, Tsukihime (anime adaption supposed to be bad), Chaos;Head (anime adaption supposed to be bad), Requiem of the Phantom/Phantom of Inferno, Higurashi, Umineko (anime didn't make much sense in the end). G-Sen starts out okay, but eventually turns into G-Sen Destiny: Hangyaku no Maou R2.
Never read the Key stuff, S;G VN is supposed to be good but the anime was good, but I've never read it to compare. Tsukihime anime was a huge load of shit, can't even compare to the VN. Never read Higurashi, but popular opinion is that both the Higuashi and Umineko anime suck huge dick compared to their respective VNs, especially the Umineko one.

If you cant even handle G-Sen (whose "big blunder" was relatively tame) then you probs shouldnt read a VN ever again, no. There are far worse things out there with even fewer redeeming points.

I had to drop G-sen after 10-15 hours. Hated all the characters, especially the MC. I've been trying to get through Sharin instead, but it isn't much better. I think I spoiled myself by playing all the highest rated and most popular VNs first.

Sharin is alot better than G-Sen, imo. The MC of Sharin is a easily the best character, along with Wakamoto.

I judge alot of things I read and watch rather harshly. It stops me from enjoying alot of things but I only tend to read what ppl I think have good taste say is pretty good. I probably have one of the least amount of watched anime in this thread -.-(only 45 completed/16 days worth). I tend to cherry pick what i waste my time on. Also my biggest expectation for watching or reading is that its well thought out from beginning to end. If a story has that then I will generally like it. MLA and Fate were well thought out from beginning to end for example. Im not planning on reading alot more VNs anyway.
Im reading Sekien no Inganock because Ecael recommended it and Im loving the music/setting. Then ill probably try Shikkoku no Sharnoth if I like Inganock then Ever17.

Some people seem to not like it but I'm quite enjoying Hyouka at the moment.

I finished Inganock yesterday night, it was lovely. Not super good or anything like that but certainly a pleasant read.

All the bashing sort of killed my will to read G-senjou >.<

I... sort of like it. It's a bit boring at times, but otherwise good... I guess? Needs more mysteries that aren't boring. And it's lolKyoAni, so the animation is wonderful. I do wish they had done Little Busters instead, though.
Don't really know what to watch... so, please, do recommend me something based on your waifus. You've made yer lists, now spread the love. Lol.
Shaft announces some new Mahou Shoujo looking anime... would be funny if they trolled us with a reverse madoka (dark in beginning, fluffy later on), but who knows what it'll actually be. Sort of wish they just poured resources onto the monogatari series instead, haha. After reading Nekomonogatari, my urge for animated Kizumonogatari is through the roof.

Kizu movie is suppose to come out sometime this year. And by that logic, DVD/BDs sometime in 2013.

also, LOL at eca/uta chairs. dem elitesits.

Ah, thanks for that link. Seems all is well, I just need to chill the fuck down and wait, lol. + Show Spoiler + Scrap that, back to building a time machine. 26 episode season? Jesus, give it to me already.

Hope the 26ep decision means that they have learned and knows how to pace things now. Nise pacing was just dumb.
