Yeah, given how they're supposed to both be stong and quick I was expecting a lot of quick acrobatic strikes at one another. Kinda disappointing but maybe they'll have another fight without laser beams next time. Also found it funny that the subbed version I saw (on best anime) actually referred to Cinque as Sink, lol.
You didn't realize from S1 that you're going to get mostly laser beams rather than melee fighting? Pretty explosions for everyone. Anyway, they seem to be taking this Mizuki Nana joke even further, having Nanami specialize in water affiliated powers lol.

i just had to read the 1st novel because i was curious... shame on me!
great stuff and from my understanding the story got additional sidestories to make the story more complete, and these will be featured in the anime as well... my mind was blown when i read the author wrote accel world as well ( i hate that anime with passion... that wimpy pig-mc oO )
i just hope they end the anime like vol01 of the novel... because the continuation reeks of moneymilking -.-

Obvious evidence against it? You can say you think it was obvious because of how it was presented, but there was no evidence to prove she wasn't his sister, or that someone else was at the time. She even claimed to actually be his little sister.

TBH all I remember from the first season is large evil blob, cute characters and warm fuzzy feelings.

That's the basic uta argument of "Why is SAO more than 1 vol?"
Answer: They need the moneys, though originally the guy was just getting really net-famous w/ SAO and decided to continue being famous I guess. At any case, chances are imo that they are aiming for 2 seasons 4 cours for up to vol 10 material (I feel like they want 3 cours but they are blazing through content w/ amazing shit pacing), maybe with some stuff from Progressive thrown in ahead of time depending on level of author input.
AW is basically the same as SAO, instead of giving you the dutchwife that is Asuna and an imouto, the author decides to take the pandering further.
On a side note, between SAO and Mahou-siscon-academy-the-name-that-I-forgot I am honestly pretty terrified of net novels by this point. MaoYuu is like the only decent thing I've seen come out of that.

Jinsui not exactly the cheap laughs genre, which got saturated like years ago. Binbougami is really just another average adaptation that tries to bring in more bad parody than anything else. Even KoreZom is better in terms of effort.

Elfen Lied isn't as bad as you're making it out to be. I mean yeah, it's horrible weeaboo crap, but I finished it without my eyes melting out of their sockets or trying to kill myself.

Why do some people insist on finishing anime that they label as "crap"? I always drop anime if I dont enjoy it. But I guess some people like to push through the entire series then complain about it later, or brag that they finished it and lived to tell the tale.
