Check out some older shows then. At least, that's what I do to fill out my viewing.

What Maxie said, and also in terms of recommendations um... prince of tennis? Most of your post is pretty negative and PoT doesn't really match any of your dislikes. If you're really desperate to watch more than it's not too bad, thought it was pretty entertaining. I watch/play tennis myself but I don't think it influenced what I thought that much. You have quite a few listed so I dunno how intellectual you are about your anime ;P

moyashimon slipped under my radar when it aired, but now i am watching s01, and it is quite good, but the icing on the cake are definitely the girls (nsfw?):

that aside the real surprise in the new season is binbougami so far, i just watched ep01 out of boredom and it was quite good, definitely a show i will follow for now, and i am still waiting for that nobunaga madhouse anime, although i think it will just add to the enourmous pile of fanservice of this season.
Sword Art Online is the best show for now i feel. (also UTWoots is a fansubber dreamteam)

Yeah.. A good torrent download link would be nice, I am certainly more picky when it comes to program downloads due to potential viruses, etc. I couldn't find a good one looking through isohunt, etc. The best I have found was this 11-part download from some file sharing site, and well, screw that.

Don't really know what rules TL have and if they prohibit torrent linking (some forums do), but I got mine at pirate bay.

People who give ratings after 1 episode are the most trustworthy people. Even moreso trustworthy are those who rate after seeing cover art.

Well, to be fair, this season has kind of sucked ass so far. It's not like the first episodes of any of the shows have been any good. A bunch of these shows I could just find the manga/LNs and just read instead of watching.
And to be fair there's other stuff I'd watch other than watching.....whatever the crap half of the stuff on the list is airing. Let it be known that I'll end up watching it anyway, but I'll probably drop most of this stuff within the first three episodes too.

+ Show Spoiler +Well, that was it. I have no clue of how many hours it took me, but now it's over. Now, I have to mention that I haven't played many VN:s before the ML series (a little Fate/Stay Night), so giving out ratings isn't really something I can do - but it's certainly somewhere between 9 and 10. The biggest problem is getting through Extra. Unlimited was also not that great, but it was still enjoyable, and playing MLA without having played those beforehand simply wouldn't have worked, so I'm glad I got through them.
There are a lot of nice characters (I never liked Chizuru even in Unlimited/MLA, but that didn't prevent her and Ayamine from having an epic final moment), and pretty nice interaction between them, and the setting is quite well done, with humans getting royally fucked by the BETA, politics, etc. As I said I haven't played that many VN:s, so I'm still not entirely used to the way a lot of the action is done (can't help but want more anime-ish parts), but it was still pretty good (and the anime-ish parts were reserved for the utterly awesome moments). The OST really does a great job at setting the mood, with everything from sad moments to briefings to Takeru beastmode. Something that really makes the many death scenes that much better. I feel like they were all well done, though Meyia's was the best, imo. I got pretty angry when I saw what happened to Tamase though (or, well, her body)
Some people might complain about the ending, and think that it was a "too happy" ending. Well, while Takeru does get an uber harem, the many sad moments during the game makes up for it - and just because Takeru gets his happy ending, it doesn't mean that the sacrifices that were made were undone. The other world is still fighting the BETA.
That said, I got really happy in the ending when Kasumi showed up. She's so cute, I want a bonus Kasumi route NOW!!
As for flaws with MLA, right now I'll narrow it down to "Oh God tentacles Q.Q".
Starting to wonder what will happen in MLA:TE, since it's supposed to be in Alaska and basically no beta after ep2. Politics? More Alternatives? The timeline compared to MLA, and if what happens in MLA will be mentioned in/affect TE? I wanna know.

My face when znf uses my excuses.
Maoyuu pissing me off a little by rapidly springing to the equivalent of the protestant movement and printing press while using plot devices to deal w/ the maou's side of things. IDK, as someone who thoroughly enjoyed Foundation I found the entire chain of events moving way too fast. Also, if you have any idea of history, you can see pretty far into the plotline with just a little hint. While that's where plot devices come in to keep things from being too transparent, being able to throw some twists from historical development would also help a lot. The world is rather different from the average setting of historical fiction, so I wish the writer would've been able to take advantage of that more.
The usage of the disciples are honestly also rather meh, within a year they have accomplished far too much considering their original role as personifications of the respective classes in that world. The idea is pretty interesting and I think the story telling method is pretty good, but this isn't quite up to the high par that I was expecting for something with such a promising start.
Oh well, at least it isn't Spice and Wolf. Wonder why I bother posting with Blasty gone, don't think anyone else here was really into MaoYuu lol.
