Whenever a new episode is release, you will see people gushing over Rider or even Kiritsugu's back story. Basically, they'll find something epic about it. In the last few pages, there was this weird discussion over Lancelot... which I didn't really care about... Then several times, there was this weird discussion about some game (I think?) dicussing rolling characters with all these weird stats...
Basically, the 3 most common topics in the ADT is F/Z, VNs or going off topic.

Just because it's better than most anime this season doesn't mean it's good. F/Z has some of the most boring characters and cliched plot in existence. For example, the interaction between Gilgamesh and Kirei is beyond stupid. They just talk all the time with no real action. ZZZZzzz. Or the way Kiritsugu treats Saber? Makes no sense, they're supposed to be partners right? idk, he's supposed to be all dark or something but it's just so bland. But at least it's not that bad. Looking at summer season, it looks to be the worst season of all time. Nothing sounds even remotely interesting. Normally there are at least a couple that are decent like Accel World and even F/Z. I miss the good old days back when stuff like Blood-C and Hidan no Aria were airing.

The whole first season of fate zero is more of and exposition. Give it 5 episodes. If it doesnt at least interest u then u wont like the whole series.
