I deserved that. Sorry, I am in a phase of being especially lazy/tired. Also a question like the one I asked is probably more warranted in a 50+ episodes anime than in a 12 one... oh well ill just go watch it, of course that's the way to go...

In all seriousness if you were considering Blood+, give Basilisk a go if you havent seen it. Its not similar or anything but I get the feeling its what you might be looking for.

To be fair I was considering Blood+ because, well, Ga-rei Zero -> girls with swords -> Blood+ (that's how my shallow mind works, hah). I'll check out Basilisk.

Actually I liked Blood+ a lot when I watched it years back, sure the main character goes over emo at some point of the show but it's still fairly entertaining. In fact I consider Saya to be one of the weakest characters after around mid-show, with the exception of 1 really annoying character. Thank god he died.

However with Ga-rei-zero, I couldn't get past the 3rd episode. It just didn't do it for me. There are many other shows with girls wielding swords though.

lol I am not exactly on board the GRZ train but even that is more interesting than Blood+. At least they canned the entire cast and plot and had decent execution, can't even say much of that about Blood+.

Yes, a friend of mine got drawn in by Haji + Saya vamp emo (needless to say, was a female friend) so I kinda got dragged along. At some point I think I just spent my time hoping for Haji to play some Bach so I can ignore other things going on. Oh right, even the said friend got bored of it at the end and we just ended up hoping for gore, instead we got rewarded by some ridiculous BBQ, meh.

That they didn't really bother to dig for good recordings and thus we have him playing at Shinji's skill level is something we can ignore.

I just want to mention how cute/hot the Demon Lord/Crimson Scholar is. And what with the absurd amount of manga adaptions swear there is at least 3-4 manga with similar art, telling the same story.

I liked it more when it was pretty much just about introducing tech ahead of their times. That and Hero X Scholar moments. The Chinese subs never went past chapter 11 though and I don't think English have made much progress either.

The only overtechnology would be guns tbh, like what the Maou said at some point, what she was introducing was a different way of thinking to change how that world works fundamentally. Both potato and maize are presumably abundant in the demon world and amounts to potato being introduced to Europe after its discovery. Rotation farming was known to them, the question was to what extent do they understand the mechanism of soil recovering. Given what the female knight's reactions were to the maou's comments about potato and use of clovers, it feels to me that among the more educated they have a good idea of how compost and nitrogen fixing works. That's what I like about the series, rather than doraemon pulling out magical tools, they introduce an extension of what is currently available and expand on the change.

I guess you are right, They did seem to have some form of imperfect crop rotation in place already, all Maou did was introduce a new crop and a new rotation to make the process more efficient, I haven't gotten up to the guns, though she did mention it. Does she actually introduce gunpowder for humans to use?

She mentioned having guns before female knight went off to fight at Aurora Island, didn't actually use it though.

I am up to the point where Hero takes the Merchant to Makai to party. Which reminds me, would the Printing press be considered overtech?

I'd say so. Most people who have read the manga complain about it, but I haven't read the manga, and I've thought it was okay so far.

yea if youve read the manga its watered down and snipped at to much to be enjoyable which is probably just a consequence of the 12 or 13 episodes whatever it was Im guessing. I dropped it after 3.

Watched two episodes, is on "decent" level so far but damn do some characters look awful (main char after transform or whatever you'd call it). At the moment I have no real urge of watching more of it.

So, I realized I haven't watched TTGL. Please do not disappoint me, haha.

I dropped Zetman after the 3rd episode. I just wasn't interested in it at all and didn't like the characters.
